Is self destructing to cycle weapons in fiesta wrong?

Technically it’s Kacey!!

Kaysee
Keisea
Caysie

Am I annoying Kacey?

haha, no. I considered many different spellings.

I actually go by Kara. Kacey’s a fursona (not the one pictured)

I go by Drew.
Bambo is my fursona (not the one pictures as that is just a pic of Katia Managan)

Glad to hear you feel the same way

I say this to put my replies in context. People who chase challenges instead of playing a game mode the way it is indented are an issue. This is partly the fault of 343i for creating a system where challenges are the only way to rank up. It’s also partly the fault of the the player, because we all know trying to get specific weapon kill challenges do not really help your team in CTF or Oddball.

On the opposite side of skill based games like Slayer and CTF, you have your whacky luck based game modes like fiesta.

Not in Fiesta. In team slayer and ranked your team will lose points if you kill yourself, but those are not the game modes being discussed.

I find the chaos of fiesta does that on its own. Useless weapon1/useless weapon 2 while the other team have swords and rockets “ruins” the game more than your teammate jumping off the made (to no impact to either teams score). And when did people care about win/loses in fiesta of all things? I find people who treat social modes like fiesta or infection seriously to be the most toxic element in this community.

Off topic but does anyone ever wonder why Halo was more fun during the era where friendly fire was ‘on’ and getting banned meant something? I swear Halo is turning into a shooter filled with more and more bubble wrap. Rip freedom in Halo (lol).

That part

The whole XP system should get a complete rework. Something to look forward to in season 12 I guess.

To answer your Question. Yes, its wrong. Part of the fun in Fiesta is trying to be good with whatever you get, being able to do it, 1. makes you better at Halo and 2. feels great when you go against the odds. Halo multiplayer is really only really fun when you’re doing well and Fiesta forces you into opportunities to do well using loadouts you likely would have never selected deliberately. The mode is designed to occasionally put players in situations with impossible odds. Being able to perform decently in most of those situations, and occasionally overcome those odds is what makes the mode rewarding and fun to play.

Is giving challenges (as the only means of progression) about getting specific kills with specific weapons wrong?

Ask 343 lol. They provide the challenges (that we dont want)…so we do what is necessary to conplete them.

Not our fault. Change the system as thebonly means of progressing.

I agree with you. Im always gonna do what is necessary to progress these challenges the way the game is currently designed

I realize youre being sarcastic but yeah i totally wouldnt be surprised if they mess up again and dont deliver a progression system by s3
