So earlier I made a post and said please kill off Sahara Palmer! As a joke but after watching a halo follower video it got me thinking is she a bad character?In my opinion no actually I think she is a bad -Yoink-.Why will for one she had the ball’s to say to the chief " I thought you taller." And her smart -Yoink- remarkes is really make a double pistol bad -Yoink-.Kind of like Lara Croft.Now I think us males really hate her because she is over shining the chief.But halo needs a female character to lighten things up.Now what could make her a better character is maybe she be a little more femin feminine.Like maybe in the halo 6 she flirts with the chief.Anyway girls please back me.

@OP, nothing wrong with a strong female character. I imagine most female spartans are. No need to make her more feminine and flirty. I think Palmer is a great character and much less annoying in 5 than she was in 4.
In fact, she wasn’t in 5 very much at all which was a shame.
I love Sarah and I don’t get why people hate the “I thought you’d be taller” joke.

I agree with A Blues fan, there’s nothing wrong with a strong female character as Sarah Palmer. In my opinion I think she’s a very well written character in the halo francise. And also I don’t see the need for a more feminine character in Halo specifically. After all we’re talking about soildiers, -Yoink!- spartans.
I agree with everyone I think we do need another strong female character.But if they should a more softer side of her it would expand the franchise as a whole.

When she’s talking with Lasky you can kinda see her soft side.
I just feel like she never listens.
Every time I try to tell her that we need to talk, she just says “We’re not out of this yet, we Can Still Destroy the Enemy Core”.
And a piece of me breaks inside.

I really don’t understand why people dislike her so vehemently. The only issue I have is the poor choice of having her say the, “We’re not out of this yet, we can still destroy the enemy core.” I actually saw a thread not to long ago suggesting the chief should have killed her, because of the, "I thought you’d be taller’ joke. Which I assumed was a Roadhouse reference. I honestly don’t know why she gets so much hate, she seems pretty akin to most female military members I’ve met when they are on the job. She’s focused and authoritative and the latter is likely a response to having her authority questioned constantly.

Can’t stand her, she’s quite a disrespectful/obnoxious person. She’s just as bad as the previous Captain of the Infinity. Some people assume it’s because of genders and yet Dr Halsey who has done worse things (Spartan Project by kidnapping kids) yet isn’t as bad since we kind can relate to why she did this plus she has a like-able personality, 343i have tried to force the character Palmer on us but she’ll never be as good as characters like Miranda Keyes.
Sarah Palmer add’s nothing interesting to the story, just encourages offensive stereotypes by her general disrespect to everyone including the technicians or anyone that happens to listen to her, I wouldn’t even be surprised if Spartans quit the project just because of her inappropriate behaviour that would have got her fired in any other company.

There’s also the events of Escalation and her hate for Halsey.
Meh, she was bad before MoR. Now that they took out the “Its not over yet we can still destroy the enemy core” line, she is…tolerable
