I reserved Halo 4 at target. Is it the same as pre-ordering?

Probably. You have reserved a copy of the game for yourself. That means no one else can have it or buy it.

Pretty much the same thing.

i would cancel that reserved at target and pre-order it at either best buy or gamestop because i think they give you the extra goodies for pre-ordering.

I don’t think so. If I remember correctly reserving means you grab one of those little slips, pay them $5, and you have a week to go to the store and pay another $60 for the game itself and if you don’t make it they’ll sell your copy. I do my preordering off of amazon where they reserve my copy for free and until a few hours before release-day where they take the $60 and the game is at my front door on the day it’s released (That is if you select release-day delivery). It’s pretty awesome.

Reserving means if they sell out of the regular bunch, you still have yours there because they ordered one extra copy.
Pre-ordering usually comes with a bonus and is essence, the same thing.
