have there been any updates to reach to fix the frame rate issues? would love to hop back in and see how well noble 6 has aged
I have not heard of any improvements, but I hope 343 are working on it.
Besides the update that followed after the initial BC release. It is still iffy. I played a round of SWAT and didn’t have any serious issues. But 30 FPS is very noticeable, would like to see it integrated into MCC, or a re-release.
It works fine for me right now. There was an update earlier trying to address the issues.
Highly doubt 343 will ever patch it. People are still waiting for MCC to get fixed.
-Yoink!- it they should really hire a team for MCC and Backcompats to repair brand trust

It’s not 343i’s or even Bungie’s fault. It’s Xbox for making an Xbox 360 emulator that by default has low frame rate. I’m personally fine with how it plays.
I played yesterday in FF and match making for 2 hours. No issues at all during game play online. Besides this is a emulator issue that Microsoft is working on. Not 343 Industries concern to repair at all. I mainly play MCC for campaign when I do so I’m not concerned to heavily on multiplayer but when I do play online multiplayer I run into issues for H:CE. H4 plays normal when I hop on. I have no concern for H3 but hope it gets fixed. That’s gotta be a netcode nightmare to resolve. Awesome idea for one UI for 5 Halo games. Should have gone with the original idea doing a box set for each physical game but I’m still happy for campaign being all in one.

Im not blaming 343. The UI for MCC is super ambitious Plus so much of it was outsourced and I know that its an emulater issue. But the quality of the franchise as a whole is their concern because of the nature of the studio. Halo is their job. Surely they can tweak reach a bit. was never into the multiplayer personally so I cant comment on that but campaign is a nightmare. As for MCC im not too bothered either but a large portion of the community are.

i only care for halo 2 and 3 multiplayer in mcc i would have liked halo 2 hd customs but 343 didn’t give mcc a file browser and they made it where you had to be friends with the party leader so you can play customs which makes party matches a BLAM! to set up and some people care about customs more but the people think that everybody cares about mm being fixed more BLAM!
No. The screen tearing is still awful. Unplayable. I just play on my 360.
Slightly better than when it came out on BC but still not an optimal experience.

I pray for reach every day. Seriously they should fix it asap
I’ve just finish installing the 7 gig file for reach, havent played it yet. Has anyone manage to get system link working?
I got a 360 and a xb1, I got 2 copies of the game since they were pretty much on sale so got them for cheap
well when i try to do a system link game, try to join the game then get the message to check the NAT settings or some crap.
Just wondering has anyone been to get xb1 system link to a xb 360?
Only successful game i manage to system link xb1 is gears of war 1 on the 360.
Rainbow 6 vegas 2 cant link cause xb1 doesnt have the latest version.
Well its great to play backwards compatibilty games but sucks that not many can system link to the old console
As far as I know that feature hasn’t been released in the current emulator but I think it will come out later
I don’t think they will fix it,they only brought Reach back so that they could say that “Xbox one is the best console since you can play all of the main series Halo games on 1, flawless console!”

MCC is still broken and buggy and that game has been released 2 years ago, so the hopes of yours look dimmer by the day

My point exactly, 343 don’t want people to remember the tragedy which was MCC and that’s why they refuse to fix. It
To point something out the issues with Reach on MCC aren’t with reach itself, but with the emulator on the X1 that runs the game. It’s more up to the Xbox Team to work on those issues and make Reach smoother, not 343. There was an update to the emulator last month and will be more updates as more games are released into the backwards coompatible list
