I’m torn between getting Reach or 5 this week. I really wanted to get reach due to it being a favorite of mine. But is the multiplayer active with a nice amount of players? Or is it dead enough for me to just bite the bullet and get 5?

I’d say get both. 343 is still charging for REACH DLC tho. Go figure.

Yes it is, in fact there is more than 5.000 people playing it daily. Of course is not the same number that it used to be a few year (like 20.000 people playing it daily) but you can enjoy it on this days. It’s has a great arsenal to complete, and the armory look more intimidating than the Halo. I hope this information was useful. Cheers pal, I will see you on the road.

Get Reach.
5 has a steeper learning curve, and unless you’re trying to play any specific playlists you won’t have too much trouble finding a match in Reach. Only problem with Reach IMO is that because of the smaller population, you’ll run into some crazy inheritor Reach loyalists who will either own you or beat you into submission. That, and Griffball has gotten rather out of hand.
