I cannot find any matches in ranked. Specifically Invasion which I miss playing so much! Is there ANYTHING I can do to make the process easier? Or is it simply just the amount of people playing?
I don’t think so, it probably depends on the time mostly
I wish I could play Ranked like I used to, now I play laid back & mostly connection to Ranked has big part of it

Did you mean to post this in the MCC forum? If so, Team Slayer is usually populated enough to find matches.

Nah Ranked isn’t dead. Something for messed up with the winter update and MM.
Not sure what it is but I hope 343 fixed it somewhat soon

I can never find a ranked game in MCC. Tried all sorts of times and days. Eventually gave up. Based in the U.K.
The reason why you can’t find Rank matches is because there’s no point in playing Rank matchmaking anymore if there’s no reward for it. Which is one of the many reasons why MCC Matchmaking is so boring and pointless.
Rank Matchmaking has been a thing since Halo has been on Xbox Live. But as time went on it became pointless and boring. I get the thing being match up with people on your skill level but if the gametypes are the same as social matchmaking then there’s no point in playing Rank.
It would be one thing if Strong weapon starts (BR, DMR, CE PISTOL) where only in Rank Matchmaking which would make sense. But sadly 343 or whoever is in charge of MCC doesn’t really care about making sense. What they care about is keeping the negative arguments and rants at the bare minimum which is where its at now.
Halo in general has always had a problem at rewarding the player for the task they do. The Reach cR system was going in the right direction but sadly 
it never returned in the future. The Battle Pass System is cool and all but we can do better for the future.
All 343 has to do is make a system that rewards players for everything and gives the community countless opportunities to make a unique cosmetics experience for everything in the game.
For example

Bring back the Reach cR system

When you play Rank/Social Matchmaking you get a certain amount of xp for winning the game that goes towards your overall level and competitive level.

Have tons of options to spend your cR on. Armor, Nameplate, Assassinations, Death Effects, Armor Effects, Emblems, Weapon and Vehicle Skins and so on.

Put the Accommodations System from Halo 5 into the game for long term goals that gives players to unlock something special and a ton of cR.

Reward players for the things they do throughout Matchmaking.
For example Every Normal Kill, Headshot Kill, Stick Kill, Splatter, Plasma Kill, Medal Kills, Scoring the Objective, and so on. -
Bringing back daily and weekly challenges that aren’t easy repeats like Halo Infinite but the harder it is to achieved the better the reward.
These 6 points would give the community countless opportunities to have fun and enjoy the game.
I’m having trouble playing ranked matches as well. What’s weird to me is that on PC there are options for ranked queue and input, but they are disabled. Why even have them there if players are forced to play with them on?
I would really hope the devs would look at OW for influence. I like the game a lot, but the ranked scene is bad (throwers, leavers, uneven matchmaking) or dead (hard to find a match, boring to wait for a match). Since there is no social rating system, I find other players using headsets in <10% of matches. This is infuriating as I would hope to communicate and work as a team and communicate.

The ranks don’t even mean anything in this game, you’re wasting your time playing ranked Halo right now. The game literally matches your opponents based on your mmr which is cross-playlist, your visible rank has zero effect on how matches are balanced.

Yeah, but I want to get my points in challenge hub as well as play invasion which only has a playlist in ranked.

Invasion. But I’ve tried the others and I’m getting nothing
