Is ranked arena unbalanced ?
The reason is that there are req weapons in ranked arena gamemodes, such as the song of peace on doubles map such as Empire
but does this make ranked arena unbalanced because of req weapons ?

In 2 days when the new season starts, doubles is getting a update so it may get taken out
Technically I would say it’s not unbalanced. If both sides have access to the weapons you could have two nornfangs and it would be considered balanced. But 343 usually does a good job with not having to many op weapons in one map. Usually
I’m pretty sure that the Song of Peace is the only REQ variant in any ranked Arena playlist. Considering that the basic Suppressor is pretty pathetic in terms of damage, I doubt the Song of Peace actually throws off any balancing because the only advantages it has over the standard Suppressor are reduced recoil and higher rate of fire.

I would have to agree on this. If one guy is being a pain with it you can always take him out and you know where he going when he spawns.
They aren’t any different than any other power weapon that could be on the map.
The song of peace is more or less a promethean SMG so it’s not really a game changer.
Ranked Arena isn’t that unbalanced. The only times it becomes unbalanced is when you are searching on “Expanded” or after 30 seconds of looking for a game.
