Is Prefect Canon

What ^ says.

I’d assume so judging we’ve already started reverse engineering Forerunner tech, who knows what Humanity found in Trevelyan, if they found a Forerunner Combat Skin they could reverse it and apply it to MJOLNIR

To be honest. Does it matter anymore? Ever since 343i took over the Halo universe, basically anything can be Canon, and the plot has gotten pretty silly in their care, just look at Halo Legends and Spartan Ops. If the Flood somehow infected -Yoink!-’s corpse and he managed to take control of a Gravemind and build a new Flood/-Yoink!- Army, as ridiculous and silly as that sounds, it would be Canon.

Yes

> I’d assume so judging we’ve already started reverse engineering Forerunner tech, who knows what Humanity found in Trevelyan, if they found a Forerunner Combat Skin they could reverse it and apply it to MJOLNIR

But it seems a little OP. I’m sure you know how powerful a Forerunner Combat skin is. If we manage to reverse engineer Forerunner tech like the prefect than…IDK.

Halo Legends is not canon has been said in the past.

Only Odd Man Out, and some aspects of artistic licence from other episodes (such as obviously feudal japanese buildings and armour sets) aren’t Canon. The actual stories themselves are. Which is IMO completely ridiculous.

It is Canon that Fal Chivam took on an entire Covenant legion on his own and killed every single one, as well as that the UNSC Prototype was apparently the most overpowered thing known to man in it’s mark 1 form, and became the Mantis by the time it reached Mark IX… The Prototype (which honestly shouldn’t have existed or been nearly as insane as it was)… Evolved into the Mantis -_-.

Yeah i thought people knew that. LOL in Halo Legends MC and 4 other Spartan attack a Covenant armada on speeders and the Captain of that Stealth ship said they would have to destroy the entire Armada. LOL never has 1 UNSC ship destroyed an entire Armada in head to head combat. Not to mention at the end of Origins part 2 Cortana dies. Soooooooooooooooooo yeah.

That’s really the only canon they ****ed up, which I don’t even really consider most of it canon.

You know, Master Chief takes on entire Covenant legions solo.

Also, between different variants, things change. The Mark I was probably way too costly.

If prefect is canon…would that make my fotus canon too? =D
Fotus, design wise, was inspired by the Promethean Knights after all

You are right their parts of Legends is canon but must of it is not.

Well I’d assume when fighting the Covenant, humanity wouldn’t care about being OP, of course it’s stronger than it is ingame for gameplay purposes

They never destroyed the armada. They just went to rescue Halsey. And Cortana didn’t die, she started going into rampancy.

Also, it’s canon

Only one episode, and several art styles.

Halo legends IS CANON. Exept for spartan 1337

Seriously though, if prefect is canon, wouldn’t that automatically make fotus canon as well since it too is based on forerunner tech and style wise is inspired by the Promethean Knights?

Prefect is canon.

It is not Forerunner armor.
Scientists in Trevelyan found a set of Forerunner armor called Prefect. They reverse engineered its design to make a Mjolnir variant that looked like it. They did not add Forerunner stuff to Spartan IV armor, they just made it look awesome.

> Fos Kuvol

Halo Legends’ issues have already been explained.

Other than that… what has been so horrible with 343i’s lore? There is absolutely nothing that would justify -Yoink!- returning as a Gravemind, or even show that they would do that. And the plot has gotten silly?
The plot is actually following the Forerunners. The Forerunner Trilogy is the greatest Halo series out there, and is one of the greatest books in general I’ve read.

Spartan Ops had some of its moments, but there was nothing overly “silly” about it. Just characters with far too much emphasis and some issues with the cutscenes showing shielding and strength. The Librarian has always been known as a planner, it is completely logical and almost expected for her to have developed something like the Janus Key. Choosing Halsey for it… Halsey has been recently associated with a geas of some kind, it makes sense for her to be the courior.

> Seriously though, if prefect is canon, wouldn’t that automatically make fotus canon as well since it too is based on forerunner tech and style wise is inspired by the Promethean Knights?

Yes prefect is canon. It was reversed enginered by Huragoks.

Numbered as listed.
1.(Highlighted Zone) He said if they didn’t complete the mission they would be forced to destroy the armada. 1 human ship isn’t capable of destroying 15 CCS class battleships and a Covenant Carrier. No ship at the time had firepower of that magnitude and neither does the Infinity.

Listen to when MC talks to the Captian after the are done being briefed. Even the Covenant have green blood and clearly have no shields, not canon. I’m not just talking about the Elites but the battleships either. Even thought MC is clearly wearing Mark IV he still has shield rating in his HUD. Not to sound like an -Yoink- but i can go on.

  1. (Cortana did die in Legends)What she dies at the end, it even shows Cortanas data streams all deleting. Check it out At the time she was still under Bungies Rampancy which was transcendence like Durandal. 343i changed it to them thinking themselves to death. Even with Bungies version of Rampancy she wouldn’t delete herself or of been deleted. She died.

Ok we established prefect is canon, what I’m asking is, is fotus canon? And if not, why isn’t it, when prefect is. That’s what I’m asking, I’M NOT ASKING IF PREFECT IS CANON. that’s again, been established and not my question
