Is Playing Original Xbox Games Online Possible?

While I know of services like XBC and such, is it possible to use these services without the need for an Xbox 360? Because everywhere I check, people imply that you must hook your PC up to a 360; however, as the only Xbox console I still own at this point is the original, is it possible to hook my PC up to that instead?

You can still use an original xbox, I mean, I don’t see why not since it has system link.

You will probably need some sort of external service to play original Xbox games online, as their XBL services were removed in the spring of 2010.

You can still system link and play local, but online play is not supported.

I know that. I have XLink Kai, but I’ve yet to find anyone to play with to test it.
