I know the last one when the game first came out was terrible, but last time i won one free for all and got placed in onyx. Now this time i win 4 free for alls and get placed in platinum 6, how does winning 4 free for alls not deserve an onyx??? Also previous time i did pretty good in slayer but got placed in gold 1. This time i did not as good and got placed in platinum 5. Is the new rank system even worse?
I won 7 in swat, got placed plat 1, I won 8 in both breakout and arena got plat 2. How ranking works in general is kinda unknown for the most part. its supposivly win/loss but it cant be or theres no way id be in plat. Though its not supposedly based on stats either. Its another conundrum of it wasn’t broke but they fixed it anyway. I still say titanfall has the best ranking system out of any game ever made. Halo 3 is up there though.

it factors in your opponents skill. if you will 8 matches all against bronze players for example you wont be placed very high. if you win 8 against platinum players you would be placed much higher.
its only AFTER placement that only wins count toward leveling up
i dont really care were i get ranked honestly, if you deserve to be higher youll make it to the higher rankings, what i dont like is for example last night my buddies and i jumped into slayer, and im a gold 6, someone else was a gold 2 and the other two were unranked. we got placed against 3 diamond 2 or highers and an unranked person and we got stomped like wtf is the point of ranking us just to play diamonds
