Apparently Palmer is supposed to be on the Mammoth even though you never see her. The terminals give sevice information including UNSC service number. Strangely Palmers service number reads," Redacted." This is a some kind of hint at something concerning Palmer. It has ONI written all over it. Maybe she is removed from the spartan ranks, or maybe she is actually an ONI operative. Time will tell.
Well, as a Spartan IV, and an important IV, things are likely to be classified, especially since we are dealing with ONI probably overseeing the new Spartan Branch.
But it is possible Palmer is actually with ONI.
I would assume that since she is the Commander of the Spartan-IV’s she would have some sensitive material surrounding her.
Wait isn’t her service number 77698-41073-TL.
Maybe Palmer was supposed to be on the Mammoth and the REDACTED is just a mention of her being taken off of it? I honestly doubt she has this super secret ONI history. I could be wrong though so who knows.
