“Your journey begins in 2014.”
That line has taunted us and strained our imaginations as to what exactly it means. Our “journey” begins in 2014, but H5:G comes out in 2015! What did Bonnie Ross mean when she said that our journey begins? Personally, I hope it is the start of a new ARG.
They did a pretty good job with H4 and spreading hype for it using the “An ancient evil awakens” marketing slogan. Maybe this is our new ARG? “Your journey begins.” Are we going to start seeing some data drops? Will some notable members of the community seemingly be hacked? What will happen when we finally find out what hole this little white hare is leading us to?
This far out from release, imagine the tension that could build from slow, steady releases of information with cliffhangers and unanswered questions. Could we see something on par with “I love bees” or “Iris?” Maybe it will be something akin to the Cortana letters? What do you think?

Nope, still seems more likely to be Halo 2.

While I don’t doubt the potential of it being released, I think Bonnie was referring to something else. If you think otherwise, would you care to elaborate?

When she says Journey, she means our Journey within the Halo franchise. At this point, we are all expecting a new Halo game to be revealed at E3 with it releasing sometime this year, but that Journey doesn’t stop between 2014 and Halo 5: Guardian’s 2015 release. We could get an ARG in between, we could get nothing.
We’ll know more as time goes on.
