With this Hunt the Truth advertising with ONI, this makes me think the organization might have a role in the game. ONI want to keep Humanity safe from possible threats. They might see Master Chief as a problem as he has gone AWOL, defying their orders. While you can’t fight all of them directly, I think they will convince the UNSC that Master Chief has become a traitor. Do you think ONI will be the antagonist in the game and Locke will turn on them and join Chief?
They have been the puppet-masters in a lot of situations prior to the situation happening now, but I do believe they are becoming more of a focus.
I think they will not be the “main” antagonist, but the one pulling the strings, as they always do.
I definitely think they will be a negative character in the game. But the Didact will probably play a larger role as the antagonist since Chief said that he expects he isn’t dead. But I’m confused as to whether Chief is still hanging out with blue team or not? Did he ditch them when he went AWOL or were they with him when we last saw him in the comic?
I don’t think we’re truly going to be dealing them in Halo 5.
Yes, they’re having a lot of influence in HTT; and yes, they’re definitely going to have influence in Halo 5 thanks to Locke. But as an antagonist? No. I’m betting that on Halo 6.
