Finally got all of the essentials downloaded for the MCC and jumped into matchmaking but I can’t seem to get anybody through matchmaking, I’ve tried searching in each playlist for a total of 10 minutes each and I’m still not finding anybody. Are the servers still not working correctly? Server status claims to be up for the MCC along with Xbox Live’s server status (only Xbox 360 seems to be affected as of 21:10 EST)

You see, you believed in 343’s lies.
Never believe 343’s lies.
The game is a broken mess and you just got rekt for $60.
Hope you like campaign
^C’mon man be nice. We all got rekt.
Halo MCC’s matchmaking is a little wonky right now but itll be fixed soon (hopefully). Also ignore Gae Bulgg’s post.

It’s people like you that hurt the cause of fixing the game. There’s a difference on being a firm customer and being an -Yoink-.

Thanks! I knew the matchmaking was wonky but I didn’t think it would be two months later.
People are playing it. it is just that it wont connect you to games.
When I am playing on my own I can only seem to find games in the Halo 3 playlist. When playing in a party I have found games in Team Slayer, H3, Halo 2 classic and Halo CE playlists but stay away from Halo 2 Anni playlist and that is horribly broken and very laggy.
I have still not been able to get one game in BTB yet even when I am in a large party. And of course getting a party together is faced with its own challenges too.
I wouldn’t describe MM as a little wonky and it is not broken beyond belief. It is somewhere in between.

Giving critical feedback isn’t hurting the cause of fixing the game.
Being a -Yoinking!- apologist is though
Dysfunctional servers can give off the illusion of a dead population.
343i is currently working on a series of updates that will improve the multiplayer experience. They’ve already rolled out a few updates as of this moment, and there will be another update sometime this week.
From what I’ve heard, you can find games easier if you are solo. If you’re in a party, well, God help you.
Should get better once these updates come out, though. No worries.

Sounds like whining to me, personally.

You have to understand. You’re only just now experiencing the complete BS that is this game’s functionality, and it’s nothing near what it was at launch. Most of us have been dealing with it for two months and, quite frankly, are angry. I completely understand why they’re mad about it. I am too. It’s a complete betrayal of trust on 343i’s part. I mean, the game wasn’t just broken. It was unplayable online. For many people, it still is. The fact that 343i still hasn’t fixed it (and the fact that it even requires these many patches) is ludicrous.
Honestly, this game is the reason I bought an X-Box One. Not being able to play it is like a massive slap in the face. I know several others who feel the same way. And after hearing 343i apologize over and over, stating that they’re fixing it, or that it’ll be fixed soon (we promise!), just doesn’t cut it anymore.
But hey, that’s partially our faults, too, for buying an untested game. You can bet I won’t be doing that ever again. I’ll wait a few weeks before I get Halo 5. My faith in the gaming industry has plummeted, mostly because of this whole experience.

That’s what people said after the 6th update, 3 weeks ago.
How about tell us now many people are on each play list?

I would personally love this feature. I don’t know why this game doesn’t have it, especially since they’ve been using it since Halo 2.
