(yeah he 2 :D.) tell your opinion i think he do this is my arguments.elite kill him with energy danger ( i talking about that zelot on left) when six kick that elite’s energy sword of his hend he use energy danger is hard do see becouse his shild is recharging. In the book Halo: New Blood, Jun and Buck are talking when Buck mentions Noble 6, and Jun’s expression immediately turns grim and sad.(I forgot what he said but I think noble 6 is dead.)
Canonically, yes, Noble 6 is dead. This was confirmed by Bungie after the game launched (if you search my posts on the forums about Noble 6 you’ll find the the details on that), I believe it is also mentioned in the Halo Mythos book
I know 6 is dead but I always like to imagine he hijacked a banshee last minute and managed to make it to the Pillar of Autumn just in time. That would’ve been an awesome alternate ending.

Why did you brought it up? You’re just making another thread that has been answered more than the Halo rings’s effective range and refreshing the idea in people’s mind. He’s dead, confirmed by both Bungie and 343. Let him dead.

So this is what happened. Firstly, after he takes his helmet off he sets it down and this is important for later. You get to see through the helmet, Six fighting off Elites. He is then knocked and each time Elites try to hit him they miss and for the final swing which looks like in the animation it’ll miss Six again, so this proves that he wasn’t killed or in the process of being killed after the animation. To discuss my point about the helmet being set down, when he sets it down you can go to that area in the final mission and when it shows you that helmet in the first and last cutscene with a mountain behind it, that mountain is not there when he sets his helmet down, this can show the fact that after the battle with the Elites 6 picked it up but later after walking around dropped it again as it was useless to 6. Another point is 6 is a hyperlethal vector and shouldn’t die to those amount of Elites, and lastly Bungie said the fate if 6 is up to the player and 343 never confined the death of 6 so I don’t know where you are pulling that bs from.

It was EXTREMELY CLEAR that the Zealot stabbed Six. If it wasn’t the Zealot, it would be the Marshall. You know, the one that appears with the Energy Sword in front of the Helmet? Try to dodge that while tired like hell.

The cutscene doesn’t prove anything, but the post-launch interview from Bungie and material released by 343 since then have confirmed that Six died on Reach. Canonically he is dead. If you do a search on my forum posts for Noble Six you can find links to the interviews and books where his death is mentioned.
