Many of you have already noticed the striking resemblance the Nightfall armor has to ODST. I recall reading in a description that referred to the Nightfall armor as ODST armor but can’t find it at the moment.
Because of how similar Nightfall looks to ODST, could this mean that the ODST armor is out for Halo 5: Guardians?

> I think it is. Due you seriously have a John Locke quote as your signature? thats awesome!
Yes, I do. A quote from John Locke the philosopher on a website of a franchise with John-117 and Locke as main characters
Disolus: According to Halopedia, Nightfall armor is a “hostile environment variant of the ODST armor worn by Office of Naval Intelligence operatives”. And while Nightfall armor was developed at the Special Warfare Center in Seognam, Korea, the MJOLNIR GEN 2 version of ODST armor was manufactured by Cascade Stronghold Technologies and tested at Mindoro.
So technically Halo 4 ODST armor is a “Spartan: ODST ODST variant” and Halo 5 Nightfall armor is “Spartan: ODST Nightfall variant” if that makes any sense. They are not the same, and ODST can branch off into different variants much like how there was a Recon variant of ODST armor.
At this stage I wouldn’t be surprised to see every armor set from Halo 4 in Halo 5.
If you look at Recruit, Aviator, Scout and Recon sets there’s no way they’re building those from the ground up. They’ve gotta be transferring the assets some how right? The question is whether it’s a simple enough of a job for them to do it to every set.
Having a Halo sequel that is nothing but 100% progress with nothing lost from the previous installment’s armory sounds great.

its easy for them to up rez add new textures and throw it in. On top of I’m sure many other armor sets.
