So i bought a used copy of halo reach, i rush home and put it in my xbox and it says it isnt backwards compatible , so i stay calm and do a hard reset , then i get another copy , it doesnt work , and i do a hard reset , then on the 3rd day i do the same thing with the last one being scratch free and then i give up and play mcc, except mcc wont start and put in halo mcc and now it wont start or come out . SO IS MY XBOX YOINKING STUPID OR WTF DO I DO.
In addition to comedysherit’s advice, I suggest searching through Google or YouTube for any troubleshooting tips so you can get an idea what you’re up against.
Try get a visual of sorts; it helps a bunch.
I had this problem with reach too, it didn’t happen with any other games, but if you reset your xbox and your router, then put the game in it worked for me.

Did you have a xbox live compatible profile on the 360? Because the only way to get it on the Xbox one is to be signed in to the same xbox live connected profile that is on the xbox 360 as well as xbox one,

Throw it into and active volcano, then grab it after a couple minutes. Should be clean after that.

I forgot to mention that your Xbox live account ( the one that is on 360 and Xbox one) has to have saved data from any backwards compatible game, I hope that helps but other wise I am not sure what else I could do.

that helps ill try to get my account working by playing left 4 dead 2 but even if i cant play it , ill always remember reach.

Shoot I meant has to have saved data from any backwards compatible game on the xbox 360*. So if you don’t have progress on reach on the 360 with your xbox live account you are out of luck. The process is tedious and rather confusing actually.
