So with all this “Training”(PVP) in simulations and spartan on spartan war games is my spartan actually going to be part of the story at some point? I know it’s most likely not possibly for Halo 5 since it’s story is all said and done but your spartan feels so distant from the rest of the universe. Hopefully they will make Halo 6 like Halo:Reach and follow your spartan, maybe even have the option to customize the three other squad mates you lead. As far as Halo 5 goes I hope 343 will add some kind of firefight with objectives and the use of REQs to show off all that training. Would anyone else like to see this added in the future?

Reach style campaign is the answer.
If they ever add a campaign DLC to halo 5 (probably not, but we can hope), they should follow fireteam Crimson, which is our Spartan. You could customize your other 3 squad mates and order them around like in the regular campaign. Maybe it would be about beating the covenant and Prometheans on Kamchatka after Osiris left
I really want this I’m tired of only being my spartan in PVP never though I’d miss spartan ops this much. I hope 343 see this and makes it happen that is all I would want for Xmas honestly.
I never thought of this before, but I’m actually really surprised now that member of Fireteam Osiris wasn’t left blank for us to fill in! Would have helped the atrocious campaign story a lot.
Think about it making your squad of spartans…I’m getting giddy just thinking about it.

Imagine, Fireteam Crimson is back in action after their escape from Requiem in Halo 4. Now, Spartan Ops Season 2 kicks off with you as Fireteam Leader. You can opt to go solo, enlist up to 3 friends, or pick from a pool of Infinity’s Spartan IVs to build your own team using AI. The higher your Rank, the more Spartans you have access to. Imagine reaching a high enough rank and Spartans Thorne, Linda, Kelly, Fred, etc. become available for temporary enlistment.
The story could be built somewhat like Destiny, shorter sections of campaign split up between Planets. For example, performing a recon mission on Kamchatka and picking up remnant Covenant Comms detailing an assault on the Swords of Sanghelios, then the next mission could be assisting the Arbiter’s forces on Sanghelios.
Waypoint could also possibly access your Halo 4 Service Record and pick out your most memorable moments from Season 1 and use it in a Prologue in Season 2, like an ONI Representative reading your Spartan’s file detailing their hand in the events on Requiem.

I can’t really see Spartan Ops Season 2 happening in Halo 5 unless its story takes place at the same time as the events of Halo 5.
YES! I want my spartan to have his story! less training more kicking the -Yoink- out of covies or the flood… if ya know… they decide to -Yoink- things up again. BUT yes. I want the style of campaign from halo reach. it was amazing to have your own spartan have his/her story.

Yeah, though Majestic was always just the team trailing behind Crimson. I want to see my badass mow down some Covies and Promies, not
DeMarco getting blown up or Thorne getting his -Yoink- kicked in a sparring match, let alone Palmer chasing Halsey through a jungle just to lose her.
You never saw your spartan in the cut scenes in spartan ops which made me feel a little detached, they just mention your squad name. So I want an improved spartan ops where your spartan and squad are in cut scenes.
I want a PvE mode too, but I seriously don’t think it’s going to happen.
They won’t add Firefight.
They won’t add Spartan Ops.
Arena and Warzone are all we’re going to get.
