I have been sitting in the menu screen searching for players for almost 30 mins. Is Multiplayer only open during the event times or is it not active?
It’s open during the whole flight afaik. If I didn’t butcher my time zone math there’s even a scheduled event right now.
I’ve seen people talk about regional servers so it could be some region thing going on? I’ve mostly been lucky over here, Sweden. 
It is always active, it’s just that nobody is really playing on the flight. Halo 4 isn’t exactly everyone’s favorite game. (Which I completely disagree with.)

You disagree with some people not liking Halo 4?
I dont mind Halo 4 but some of the gameplay isnt exactly stellar. Just try and play a match of slayer without a -Yoinking!- BR, you will never find a match of Halo 4 without a damn BR.
