It’s obvious that MC got himself some new armor, but what if it’s the Mark 7 mentioned in the lore? We don’t have a canonical description for it’s appearance, but we do know that even though it was the basis for Mjolnir Gen 2, it’s a Gen 1 suit. That would explain why it looks almost just like Gen 1 Mark 6, whilst still having Gen 2 attributes? And we all know just how much the Halo universe loves the number 7. I think it’s time MC finally got an upgrade. He’s been using Mark 6 for 4 games now.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Derp. BUT according to the wiki, Naomi may have had her armor customized to look like Mark V .__

Naomi’s Mark VII looks like Mark V because the armor uses nanobots. theoretically, Mark VII could look like any other of the many armor variants depending on the wearer’s preference.__
