I thought I read this somewhere, but then I thought I read in Ghosts of Onyx that all SPARTAN-IIs present had Mark VI besides Kelly.
Kelly got it from the dead Spartans I presume. Also, other Spartans had it.

Any remaining spartan that got recalled I’d say.
Team Black had prototypes of the suit. Fred, Kelly, Will and possibly Naomi all had Mark VI. Linda still had Mark V. Maria tested the Mark VI but as she was retired, she may not have utilized it other than that, though when the Covenant invaded Earth, she may have been given another suit to use.

You might want to start posting that in your original posts then, until you read it at least. A lot of people in this forum seem to have already read it so, without a disclaimer, they’re not going to be able to read your mind about if you’ve read it or not.

You got Linda and Kelly mixed up.
But if you counted 9 Spartans(Possibly 10 if Naomi wore it) wore the Mark VI. But only 8 possibly 9 kept the armor.

I feel that it should also be noted that there is a small possibility of there being Spartan 3s with Mark VI. According to the Essential Visual Guide, a number of Spartan 3s served in different branches of the military and some, like Noble Team, were given Mark V. If there were any surviving S3s, it’s possible that they may have upgraded at some point in time. This is all speculative mind you and as such, should not really be taken into consideration at this point in time.

I forgot that…
But If you thought about it, Noble 6 helped test it if you choose the Mark VI helmet. But thats only if you choose it. So that is optional canon.
