Is Master Chief done? *Spoiler alert*

Is MC done? At the end of Halo4 they show a very epic scene of him walking past the new Spartans and stepping into a machine that takes off his armor. If this was a movie I would take that as the end of a character. I really don’t think 343 would do that but Cortana dies and MC takes off the suit. Any thoughts?

… He probably needs his armour repaired, a good shower and some rest.

I actually wouldn’t be too surprised. If this does happen we might play as Thorne instead.

But he’s been in that armor for 6 years now, it’s about time he took it off.

Those were some brave souls who were standing near him when he took his armor off for the first time in 4 1/2 years. PU!!! No he is not done. No offense, but you might be arrested for heresy for even thinking such a comment. Anyways, I hope he gets a Mk. 7 or 8.

Oh please no!

Halo 4 marked the return of the Master Chief as well as the first of a new trilogy. It’s a guarantee the Chief will be the star of Halo 5 and 6. What happens to him after that is unknown.

I think, we are just getting started.

Chief isn’t going anywhere. However, we’ll probably be seeing him in a new suit of armor in future installments Mark VI is a little outdated.

He should be in some lab being cut up cause he was turned into some sort of alien creature which can withstand a new type of weapon.

If the next halo ignores all of that i will be jumping out my window.

I live in the first floor.

Depends on if he left them know exactly how he survived the attack on Ivanoff Station. But I am willing to bet he will go through some drama.

There are rumors he will show up in Spartan Op’s if it is to continue, just not sure what Armor he would wear if he did.

Nice halo ce reference

Nice thought. Halsey did tell John, in First Strike, that if ONI found out the real reason Sgt. Johnson survived the attempted flood infection that they would kill him to study how he survived. Maybe he is aware or don’t put it past ONI to try dissecting him and don’t really tell them how he survived the composer.
I’m sure I can find the exact quote from the book if I need too.

Wow. I’ve always wondered what that means anyway. Is it an acronym? Or just two letters. And if it is two letters, shouldn’t they be separated by a period? Like U.K.? Because if you leave it like ‘PU’ it looks like ‘poo’. I guess its a mystery.

On Topic: I really detest the Idea of playing as Thorne. His character is so boring, just because he saved the team once doesn’t mean he’s a born leader. And his face annoys me, I know I sound real picky, but it does. :expressionless:

No, of course not. Halo 4 promised the return of the Master Chief in a new trilogy of games.

He’s probably getting new armor and a shower, I mean he’s been in the same suit for 4 years man.

The man deserves a break. I mean come on!

Seriously though, I’m sure he’s getting debriefed about the events he has been through and probably a new set of Mark VII armor.

> Chief isn’t going anywhere. However, we’ll probably be seeing him in a new suit of armor in future installments Mark VI is a little outdated.

I doubt he’ll get a new suit of armor. He might keep his old one for sentimental reasons, since it is a Cortana-exlusive.

However, I guess 343i could pull a Naomi and have his “new” armor have the same exact design and just say “It’s Mark VII, it just looks completely the same because we don’t want to make ANOTHER new MJOLNIR design. I mean, he looks the way his old armor looked. Yeah. That’s it.”

Nobody can take you or your ideas seriously after the peacful Elite trying to lop of Chief’s head thread you did.

Have fun jumping out your window.

I think he will keep that to him self, like he did with Johnson not being able to be infected.

I’m guessing that’s what’s going to happen, just like Kurt sticking with SPI armor even though there was an obviously superior MJOLNIR suit at his disposal.

Although I can fully understand why we decided to wear the SPI amour I was screaming at the book “no!! you -Yoinking!- idiot!!!, Mjolnir is much better for you noooooooo”

dichead!!
