They have to the put the Mark VI in multiplayer Just look how sexy it is and a Halo game with an armory has to have Master Chief’s MJOLNIR helmet.
I think it should just be new armor because
1: that’s a Spartan 2(?) helmet and we are Spartan 4’s
2: It would look like their are a bunch of Chiefs

In Halo: Reach you are a Spartan III and able to wear Mark VI and Spartan VI’s a Gen.2 MJOLNIR Spartans. so that means they’re wearing a version of what Master Chief’s armor.
Mark VII armor? I thought he was still wearing Mark VI
I want Chief’s armor in multiplayer. I don`t mind the default armor and the other helmets that has been revealed/leaked.But I think his helmet look badass.

And I’m pretty sure Reach’s multiplayer customization wasn’t entirely canon. In fact, it can’t be. The Haunted Helmet is not canonical at all.
But I do agree. The Chief’s armor, at least the helmet, would be nice to have.

Well, the Mjolnir GEN 2 has Scout and Recon; variants developed during GEN 1 for Mark V and VI. If the UNSC thinks Chief’s Mark VI helmet is a design that works well, then they’d bring it back. I assume, and hope, they have Mark V, VI, and even VII for multiplayer.
Also, who says GEN 1 parts don’t work with GEN 2? I think that’s a good question.
Yeah, it’s Mark VI armour, the one he was wearing in Halo 2 and 3, not Mark VII.
However, I wouldn’t be surprised if we had access to the armour for multiplayer. It would most certainly be a very high level item, but I’m willing to bet almost anything that we’ll see it!

The Spartan IV’s use the Mjolnir Mark VII Powered Armor. War Games or otherwise. Its not outside the realm of possibility to have a GEN 2 Mark VI helmet as Recon and Scout are being re used.
Surviving Spartan III’s also use this configuration. Though they used to use the far inferior SPI Armor.
Spartan IIs used the Mark IV, Mark V, and Mark VI. Master Chief uses a modified Mark VI configuration in Halo 4 thanks to art/graphics advancements and Cortana.
His armor is stil Mark VI not Mark VII.

Hmm that’s odd. I was under the assumption that GEN 2 WAS the Mark VII armor.

Yeah, it’s an easy mistake to make, but no worries! The GEN2 is a more lightweight MJOLNIR amour system, while the Mark VII builds upon the Mark VI.
