It’s stated on wikipedia that he’s back with Microsoft Studios working on a “unspecific project” and on IMBD it states that he’s a writer for a Halo TV series for pre-production.
I do not think that this is a coincidence.
It only makes sense for Joe to be back with 343 if he’s working on a Halo project.
It would be great if both Joe and Marty joined 343 industries to continue their work with Halo.

IMDB and Wikipedia are not reliable sources, I wouldn’t be surprised if one is referencing the other.
