Is it worth spending those Req points on the pack? Or am I better off buying silver packs?
I have saved up those Req points but now I’m not sure if it’s worth getting haha
no. i bought all gold and im doing better than ever, infact i haves almost have of the reach stuff now
I used 120K on it and received some pretty cool stuff. One thing being an ultra rare armor called Vigilant. I haven’t received anything good from the silver packs lately and rarely get anything to be excited about out of the gold. I say, if you have saved up the 120K then go for it!

Finish your silvers then gold. DO NOT BUY THE PACK. If you use the Pack Strategy you will have everything in due time. It only took me 5 months from launch.

It really depends how far you are complete. Me, personally I care about getting all loadouts and all the armors, but if you have that already then gold packs will get you the same thing minus the 1 use req packs. I wouldn’t.

Yeah I am not that far through the system yet haha, will use those silvers soon!
Does the pack have anything exclusive that can’t be found in gold packs? If not, I would say pass. If so, weigh the value of the exclusive item.
I personally got the first HCS pack (9.99 for guaranteed gear was worth supporting). Then I bought 7 of the last pack to get the 2 ‘343 weapon skins’ that I believe were exclusive (although at this point I wouldn’t be shocked if they were released).
Finally realized, I don’t care ‘that’ much (cost of another 1.5 brand new retail games) for a few exclusive skins.
My new limit is $9.99 and it has to be for a 100.0% chance to get all ‘exclusive pack only’ armor in 1 pack. Anything else is a no.
Love to support but the value has become comically bad.

That is a fair response, I would have loved to get my hands on those 343 weapon skins but I had no such luck, I do from time to time when I have the money offer some support to the fantastic work they are doing but, like you said only if it’s 100% guaranteed to bring me what I desire, rather than luck and $80 later

I have been unhappy using my saved REQ points on the expensive packs thus far. Do not spend your hard earned points on these until you have obtained everything else and have the points to spare.
The 120000 REQ points is way to high. You are better off sticking with the regular REQ packs.
I’ve been getting silver REQ’s and since the lastest update I have received 2 DMR’s, 2 assisnations, 1 stance and multiple armor / helmets.
If you have all of the items besides the one’s from MoR I believe it takes about 140k to get all of the items from this update

Unless you REALLY (and I mean REALLY.) like the reach armor sets, there is no reason for you to waste that much for so little.

Kinda feel like bit of a prat for posting this question now, since everyone agrees so strongly about the price of the pack and that it’s not worth it!
