FirstI would like to say I am a fan of Halo and have been since 2001. SecondI feel no matter how your game goes don’t quit on your team, you help more than you know.
I actually like the fact that 343 has enabled a small timeout for people who quit early. There is justification on why you may quit early(most times not the case).
Now to the meat of the post. Is it really worth remaining in a game when you’re the only one left? I have never quit a game early and I don’t say that because I am proud of it. I say that and with that I can say I have never seen any kind of points compensation for remaining in a game, seen no XP boost. I even get so frustrated that I do report each player for quitting early. (I think this is more for me, I doubt this feedback is viewed. I still do it.)

So what exactly happens if I don’t quit early? Do I just get the satisfaction of saying I’m not like the others or does something happen?
To be honest I have had more TBAGS than Lipton, because every time I am the last one it’s BAGBAGBAGBAGBAG is it worth the torture?
Depends, is the game halfway or a little over halfway finished? Then yeah, I would stay but if it’s the start of the game and 3 people quit and I haven’t quit in awhile… Well, I don’t see any harm in quitting.

Idk what is going on as of late but the amount of players either quitting or disconnecting is much higher then ive ever seen yet. Its getting to the point something has to be done. It cant continue to go on like this.
it’s not particularly fun for the other team either, hence the bag.
If you’re the only one left you should quit, however there should be some kind of mercy rule for the last player left. (letting the player quit without penalty)

I think it’s definitely OK to quit if your the only one left.
i quit games every now and then, Seomtimes because teammates quit and other times because people on smurf accounts think its cute to troll and shoot teammates purposely feeding the enemy team.
If i get banned i just get off the game.

You don’t get a bonus unless you’re playing FFA since you would automatically not get last place. Josh Menke did say that they’re working on something so you don’t get a quit penalty if you aren’t the first person to quit on your team though.
If you’re not a habitual quitter, then it would be more beneficially to quit if you’re the last person on your team. You won’t get a ban, it helps you and the other party not be bored or miserable for an entire game and it helps you both find another match quicker.
It’s worth not quitting at all. The only time I quit games is if they are way lagged out which isn’t to often. I despise quitters. If you don’t play players who are better than you how will you ever get better? Not to mention at the end of the day it’s still just a video game, you can’t and won’t win every game. I have been on the giving and receiving ends of curb stomps… Just play the game.
OR… If your team mostly quit, the oposite team don’t just be a bunch of try hard -Yoink- bags.
When i end up playing 4 V 1 then i chill a bit and give the guy a break. I don’t want him to quit. I practice other techniques, like how much i can dodge being shot, without shooting back, no doubt a fellow “hero” team mate will run over and kill him, but it don’t need to turn into a 4 V 1 bloodfest, especially if the 4 team collect power weapons and invisibility etc, surly that is encouraging others to quit.
