im a die-hard Halo fan, just lke im a die-hard fan of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, but im just wondering… is it really worth it to get a new console for a couple downlads? i am going to get the standard edition only because i know many people who are gonna have the same AR skin and Armor skin as i would if i bought the LE. but, thats my opinion… i can always rezerve the console or LE… could u help me here?
which one should pre order? which one gives me the most in-game content? so many damn questions…
If you don’t need a new console I don’t see the need to buy one. I’d consider the Limited Edition If you’re planning on buying the DLC for Halo 4 anyways, that’s about 30$ for 3 map packs worth 800 points. That basically makes the prices of the LE only 10$ more.
If you want a nicer case, some extra content that just makes you feel like more of a Halo fan, than why not? You will probably spend the 10$ elsewhere on coffee or something else that you can only use once.
it was when reach came out and I needed the new console…but not for this new console. there isnt a code in the world you can’t find on ebay, asumming you want it that baddly
> Go with the LE. You get free map packs and exclusive items.
This deffinently. I’m like you about the console. I never really see the point in special edition consoles. If you have one working enough to play the game, buying a brand-new one just to have the bonuses it comes with really aint worth it.
if you needed a new console, which would be the only reason to get one, then still no. 400 bucks is just way too expensive. If I’m not mistaken the Reach console was 300 and came with the exact same additions except it was 250 gigs instead of 320.
> Why do you guys still think you get free map packs? You’re just paying for them day 1.
Well normally, somebody would pay 150$ for the Halo:Reach Legendary Edition, and still have to pay for the map packs. Sure, they aren’t free, but you aren’t paying separately as an add-on.
Only get the console if you need it. I probably will since I’m on a hard drive back from 2005 (14 GB) and my disc tray doesn’t work too well. Otherwise if you want to go ahead and get the map packs, go with the LE.
