Is it? Well, is it?!

Is it just me or did anyone else find the campaign totally underwhelming?
I couldn’t seem to get into it at all - in fact, the last two missions were more of a grind and slog than exciting events.

I don’t know why this should be; I loved the ODST campaign (even though it was super-short) and I got way more emotionaly involved with the Reach campaign than I did with H4.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the MM and really get Spartan Ops - in fact, I think they’re the best thing about the whole H4 experience.

But I just wish I’d managed to get more out of the Campaign. Possibly it wasn’t having Skirmishers and Brutes that did it - the Promethean enemies were dire IMHO.
(Maybe I’ll play through again - slower - and look for all the easter Eggs and extras. That might help).

But, for fun, how about saying where H4 figures in your list of Halo campaigns

Halo 4 lists as one of the top campaigns for me, I found both Reach and ODST underwhelming o.O

For me in terms of campaign goodness it goes;
Halo 4>Halo 1>Halo 2> Halo 3> ODST> Reach.

Story felt alot more alive and present when I played through the levels and terminals than past games, and posed many very in-depth questions, even right from the first 30 seconds. As well playing it solo on legendary, it felt like it relied on my skill much rather than sheer luck like past campaigns.

But overall I’m just happy the ending wasn’t stupid bad like ME3 or Assassin’s Creed 3.

I too am very much looking forward to what SO holds, and I hope the missions keep this week’s trend, it was fun, the 2 weeks prior didnt really have any fun missions at all.
