I read somewhere online that you had to reach SR152 in Halo 5 before Infinite launched.
Is this definitely the case or will it unlock if I reach SR152 at some point in the future? Just wondering.
I don’t think 343 said anything about needing to have it beforehand. I think you could get it at any time.

I would assume that it’s still possible to unlock the Watchdog weapon/armor coatings by reaching SR152 in Halo 5 mainly due to the fact that the otherwise hasn’t been stated.

Assuming your chasing after the Watchdog coating just be aware that it looks nothing like what we were shown. Instead of a bright clean white and black it’s a darkish dirty gray with a couple red spots on it. It looks like one of the default coatings.

It seems more like a silverish grey with some wear and tear. I think it may be bugged because if you look at the coating in the selection menu it still is very shiny and without the wear and tear.
With the current monetization scheme I don’t really trust that it’s that innocent; however, this is a beta afterall, so hopefully you’re right.
