I ask this because so many people are disappointed with this game and every time I go on there is barely 40 k , I used to go on Halo 3 and Reach and there would be at least double at any time.
Will the TU save this game or is it to little to late?

just a little advice you should try to limit your poll to two choices… when you have more youre going to get jumbled votes
Whatever is going to happen in Multiplayer and visible ranking is going to happen, but for the rest to have some added appeal here’s my take on it.
I think you’re going to have to add a ForgeWorld, a DLC campaign featuring a playable Chief and a host of new enemies for him to fight. They really need to unlock the actual Campaign’s armor and not the cheap knock off you get for finishing it in Legendary for the community. Throw in new vehicles both land and air with maps that support them, new armor, we’re talking with military webbing, pouches, and knives. New UNSC weapons need to be added that are unlockable and add all our emblems back and scrap that stupid idea we have to earn them. You guys at 343 never had to earn them from Bungie. It was intricate for players and clans to start out with a visible customization options at the start of the game.
A Firefight option should be attached to Spartan Ops. That means 343 needs to pick some ideal locations in the missions and block them off and convert them to a Firefight Arena. You simply add it as a mission option like any other Episode list.
All of this needs to be tied up in some awesome music game commercial and Youtube needs to be used a lot.
I think that’s where 343 is at if it drastically wanted to improve population numbers next to whatever their MM team is working on. But why do all that when you can simply make Halo 5? LOL.
I think it will become a more tolerable game. Pop may improve some, but I’m really waiting to see what the next game will be like.
Halo 4 is the worst vanilla I ever tasted xD.
Halo 4 will be fixed and will be fine. I’m frankly just excited to see where the plot it going.
No it’s not.
Halo 4 could be a lot better but I think that 343 just believes that they should take this time to work on Halo 5 instead of fixing Halo 4.
A port to the new Xbox or PC would alleviate my disappointment about deloading AI.
The easter eggs will hopefully restore Campaign to it’s rightful place and Spartan Ops story is getting pretty interesting.
I hope but if ranked list are a campest or lagfest this game have a black future…
Judging by the thread title and what it says about the community and/or the original poster: yes
Judging by what 343 are doing to keep the game afloat, with new items and playlists: no.

And This^^^^^^^^^^^
It’s to late now. We have to wait for halo 5 and hopefully Halo 5 will be a REAL halo game like halo 1-2-3 heck even reach in some ways. An Arena Shooter like halo 1-2-3 and somewhat of reach and not like halo 4 which is a “codified reach”! Remove all the ripped out COD features!!! Then only Halo 5 will be A REAL HALO GAME!!!

Agreed. And I’m still enjoying the game as it is now too.
The mult-player population is in a death spiral. Currently, Halo 4 is in the 4th spot in the Xbox Live rankings. (Behind COD:BOII, FIFA, and Minecraft). As Halo 4 is seen more and more as a dying game, fewer and fewer people will boot it up for multi-player. As fewer and fewer people play Halo 4, the population will drop faster and faster, until Halo 4 drops off Major Nelson list of top 20 games with live activity.
Who can bring Halo 4 out of its death spiral? Only 343 can. Unfortunately for the entire community of Halo 4 players, 343 is apt to do nothing. They are the proverbial Nero playing the fiddle while Rome burns. Man, I can’t believe I bought a year’s worth of Xbox Live Gold for this.
They need to give away a map pack!

At least you can play other games with your XLGM. I was dumb enough to buy the DLC pass.
As far as Halo 4 being too late to be saved, it is not. But I doubt anything significant will be done to give people enough incentive to start playing regularly again. Players waiting for changes to things such as Custom Games have more or less given up, and are better off either playing an older edition of Halo, or waiting for Halo 5.
I am a player that is agitated with many aspects of this game. Be it the lack of ranks and competitive playlists; the quit ban/JIP -Yoink- that increases the frequency of AFKing; the op boltshot and assault rifle; having camo as a starting perk; the lack of standard timed weapon spawns leading to a terrible flow in slayer matches; the very low number of decent maps, etc.
However, to say this game is beyond saving is ludacrous. There are still plenty of redeemable qualities to this game, and once the problems are addressed I’m sure it can be a great game.
At this point, if the TU sucks, then yes. The Reach and H3 populations (combined) are rivaling the H4 population right now, which is pretty sad.
