IS IT TIME FOR 343 TO REMOVE THE SPARTAN CHARGE?

Fix the gimped radar. The only issue is that you can basically charge without showing up on the radar for more than a fraction of a second. Put it at historical range (which makes sense for how quick movement speed is) and overnight the guys who depend on Spartan charge will have people ninjaing them all day long.

I’ve already said my piece on here, but I’d like to say that 343i had a larger radar before, but with testing they realized it hurt gameplay, so they shrunk it. I believe it was in one of The Sprint episodes they talked about it, a good source for behind the scenes stuff, and pretty cool on my opinion, just throwin that out there because I’ve seen alot of people on this thread saying to extend the radar range.

Have a good day!

SC is amazing for me, I can dodge grenades to prevent death. I still die though. Some people can’t even use the SC right, they just burst into a wall and get killed. Even Iv’e done that. The people that can use it right, usually go to the left or right for me, still within almost melee distance. I hit them them first, then a few shots with the BR or magnum and their gone. They would have a hard time aiming while doing it, so that’s your time to damage them.

I don’t see what the problem is with the football tackle. It just acts like a traditional lunge would (at least from behind). I think its addition to the Halo sandbox (along with the other spartan abilities) was a great gameplay decision. You can finally move like a spartan instead of walk-running on one level everywhere.

yea i think people complaining either
A) arent very good with SC
B) arent aware enough of their surroundings to avoid it
C) all of the above

other then that there should be no reason to complain about it. Im surprised they arent complaing about the Ground Pound as well

Spartan charge - the weapon of choice for lazy, unskilled players. 343 should never have created an ability that catered to them.

Positioning? (Oh, just stay away and it won’t be a problem) - you mean like camp? Staying away is impossible, due to the vast majority of maps (minus Warzone) being SMALL! The average map size in Halo 5 shrunk, either because of the addition of “everybody gets sprint and boost”, or because they’re just smaller.

Spartan charge is Halo 5’s “double-punch”, but worse.
