I disagree yes you can avoid it but you would have to be running away and charge too other then that there is no way to avoid it besides it’s to easy to kill some one with that I prefer to melee and us the boost for jumping or avoiding shots I think they should lower the power of it at least

When I play halo 5… I don’t get that halo feel at all… It feels alien. I’ve given up trying to call it halo when it isn’t halo. It may have a halo skin but so does mine craft but I don’t call it halo 6. The only thing it has from old halo is equal weapon starts… Not very much at all. Not enough to keep me here like halo 2 and 3 did

Or he has an opinion? What, is it different than yours so he MUST be trolling? The dudes are hearing the community in what they can, fixing aim problems, more maps and adding social playlists.
It isn’t a one hit kill and it’s easy miss, I’d say it’s pretty balanced and fair. It often disorients both players afterwards because they have no idea what’s going on lol.
I agree. There has been many times I see someone sprinting at me, start back peddaling ,get their shields off and then I’m hit with their spartan charge, which stuns me and takes my shields, then they take me out with whatever weapon they have.
I honestly haven’t had too many issues with Spartan Charge. I would be fine with altering it to a certain extent, however I feel decreasing it’s damage to be only 1/2 shields, as suggested in a previous post, wouldn’t make much sense. It’s essentially a sprinting melee so nerfing it to do less damage than a standard melee attack just wouldn’t be logical.
I don’t agree with altering other gameplay aspects (sprint and radar range) to basically also change SC, if you want SC altered then the alterations need to be made to SC itself. I would agree with lessening the tracking and/or eliminating the reticle drop.
I think the hardest thing is keeping in mind that if you want SC changed it still needs to be viable, and there still needs to be benefits to using it. One bullet knocking you out of Sprint would virtually negate any use of SC except when used from behind which is where it’s arguably not any more effective than a standard beatdown with or without boost.
Nah i think spartan charge is actually good. Balanced too. If you missed you’re dead, but if you land it, it’s wuite satisfying to jump smack the hell out of another spartan lmao. But even then you could still die, so i dont think there’s anything wrong with it IMO
The problem with SC is that it’s range is ridiculously long. If they halve it, it would be closer to the range that it should be. It’s supposed to be there to remove the ability to sprint and double beat down. It shouldn’t be a go to kill option, and it shouldn’t have as much magnetism while using it. If they reduce the range by about half then the magnetism wouldn’t be as big of an issue, and when they increase the radar back to what it should be it wont be as big of an issue.
I think it’s fine but I also wouldn’t be against shortening it’s “lunge” range. Either way it’s not a huge deal to me. If I had to choose I’d keep it the way it is.
I disagree the gameplay is near perfect and any alteration to sprint or Spartan Charge will have negative effects on the games gameplay. If you allowed a player to SC you, you deserve the damage that they inflict on you. My advice is be cognizant of your surroundings and the probability of getting SC. If that fails and you find yourself in a close proximity battle use your thrusters, move, jump or do whatever to it takes to dodge.
At the end of the day this is an ability that everyone could use so it doesn’t needs to be nerfed. What’s next? Is it time to nerf the rocket speed on the rocket launcher? Direct hit I’m dead and if it hits near me may or may not kill me and I’m not quick enough to get out of the way.

> 1. Hitting an opponent that is charging up to a full sprint will prevent them from reaching full sprint. In other words, it deactivates the sprint build up preventing them from being able to SC.

Oh yeah I’m a badass -Yoink!- Spartan, 1,300lbs of metal and muscle, accelerated to 45kph and ready to kick teeth in! stray bullet hits
Ow ow ow my toe, it hurt it hurts!
I believe Spartan charge would be a balanced ability if the auto aim/ magnetism is lowered. I feel all other Spartan abilities take some level of skill to use effectively but Spartan charge does not. Whatever I try, however hard I try it, I can still never avoid a Spartan charge because it just tracks the player. If magnetism was lowered it would make Spartan charge skillful and also give the opponent a chance.
When I use Spartan charge and dash left and right I feel like I’m playing advanced warfare…
Why can’t they maybe make halo more like it was on reach such as THE -Yoink!- ARMOR!!!

Spartan charge is fine, as long as you increase the range of the radar. A guy can literally just appear on my radar, start his charge, and hit me before I ever had a chance to react.
It should also be taken out of SWAT and non-radar based games. Plays a bit too much like Modern Warfare 2’s Commando Pro.
