is it strange that i do this

i was wondering if this is strange, I like to play very stealthily, I like to walk around crouched so I don’t show up on radar, and i like to get behind the enemy so i can take them out with a swift assassination. Dose anyone else find this play style weird, and or do you like to play like this.

I used to play like it when the game first came out until I learned the basics of the maps and weapons, then I became full on rushing kind of guy, but I don’t blame you for using this kind of gameplay, everyone is different.

You sneaky bugger you!

:stuck_out_tongue:

So let me put this into context: You believe there’s a chance that others may find it odd that you strategically move around to avoid detection and allow for swift punishment as opposed to say tunning blindly, charging at whatever is on your radar and hoping that the outcome is good?

iiiiiima sorry teh troll came out on me. I hate campers tho.

> I find your kind to be bad teamates, as you never get to me quick enough to help. I also find it extremely nooby seeing as thats the way you get kills is to beat down people.

Wouldn’t that mean you were not communicating with your teammates and/or you were out of position from your team?

If they’re still they same player when communicating and you’re still running to ambushes… why does he/she get the blame?

And no, there is nothing wrong with your style preference. Especially if you have many styles that you can move through, though prefer the one.

Assassinations aren’t the only way i get kills when i am playing stealthily. I also use my gun once i get behind the enemy as well. I use the assassination to take out the first 2 opponents and switch to my assault rifle and take care of the remaining 2, or 6 depending on if im playing BTB. And if my team mates are dumb enough to get them self pined down, or walk into a trap that’s there problem, not mine and i shouldn’t have to clean up there mess.

As long as you don’t crouch around the whole map like a noob, I could see it working in some situations.

I like going at it stealth like, but I always stay close to my teammates to lay down some suppressive fire.
But sometimes i’m tired of always following a teammate since hardly anyone follows me,
most of the time my team goes lone wolf and we end up losing

Not the whole map of course, that would take too long, i walk normally until i get near the enemy then i crouch so is not to let the enemy know im near

if you’ve ever played arena you wouldn’t feel so alone

its a good tactic as long as your the only one doing it, if everyone did it there wouldnt be much action

haha!

OP - whatever floats your boat. i don’t know that it’s “weird” or that it merited it’s own thread but if it works for you, it works for you! as long as you’re not just lone wolfing it and are able to help your teammates if/when they need it then i don’t care so much.

There is a reason crouching takes you off the radar. People do this stuff, knowing where your enemy is and them not knowing where you are is a huge advantage you can assassinate or at the very least get a second worth of shooting them before they realize whats happening.

I do this A LOT!! when my team has quit its kinda like a mini game I have to stealth pick off any wanderers and steal there power weapons to get the rest of them. (It’s the only way I can win 1v4 or 1v8)

I do it in normal games to a lot but I don’t want to get into detail, A magician never reveals his tricks
