Is it safe to say people suck at RTS games?

Getting Canister Shell first, down tech-ing (what?), being ahead in hog production, being ahead in tank production, being ahead in gremlin upgrades; I’m glad HW2 got rid of all of those noob nusiances. Can people not come up with something original than putting Spartans in Scorpions and farming veterancy, and making an army of tanks to win? I know micromanaging can be hard, but I’m seriously glad HW2 did something about hog and tank noobs. As well as the veterancy system and those commandeering Spartans.

People seem noticibly worse this time around. I can absolutely face roll people with absurd unit combos and they don’t seem to know what to do. Seems like jumper brutes are the new noob tool and I’m just like lol snipers gg.

My win ratio is definitely higher in this beta than HW1

The skill gap has been widened. Remember all the noobs complaining about how easy it was to rush in the beta’s first game mode? Weak.

I can see that. I was just playing game where the enemy kept sending Scorpions over to me while my 4 Hunters kept vaporizing them. Also, most of the complaints I’ve seen are things that isn’t even the game’s fault.

I think it’s because they’re easy to micro manage. They have the most fire power, they’re fast, good defense, and are cheap to make. An Elephant takes longer to make than a Scorpion… and it’s much slower… cobras are slow too, require tech level 3 and are complicated to use, especially with that crappy path finding in HW. I’m not sure how many infantry I can make in comparison to a Scorpion tank, but I know that one Scorpion can easily wipe out all of that infantry.
