To have a forte in the destruction of quality and charm is a disgusting thing indeed. That’s what Halo Wars had, not the Halo Wars 2 open beta, but the real Halo Wars. It was a game not perfect, but intensely playable, fun, and competitive. It was well made and had a lovely charm that showed through the thought and work put into its creation. It was simple and the variation in play was left to the player and his creativity rather then the game developer coddling the gamer with gimmicks and ultimately boring gameplay. Halo wars was a great game and one would only assume that a sequel to something great would only be greater. Well, this is not the case. The simple explanation is found with who is creating the sequel. 343 lacks creativity, common sense, and the ability to understand what a title is. You see a title bears meaning to a specific idea or thing. Halo Wars bears meaning. Halo Wars 2 assumes that same meaning with the promise of improvement. 343 thinks when you put a number behind something great, that greatness is then passed onto you and you are free to utterly DESTROY and CHANGE that meaning to an unrecognizable status. This is what 343 will do with Halo Wars 2 as the have done in the past. They change the meaning of the title by mutilating the game and making a completely different one. Halo Wars 2 could be Dongeon Defenders for all we know because it resembles the 1st Halo Wars just as much as Dungeon Defenders does…that’s right, it’s a game with a stolen title to make a buck and to avoid, in honor of greed, stupidity, and blatant deception, creativity. I wouldn’t care at all if they called it anything but Halo Wars 2. It is a disgusting disgrace. All they had to do was keep everything the same and add another faction such as the flood and then improve the pathing and add more content. Add more halo wars content not this foreign abominable garbage that merely commandeers a beautiful title to defile it.
343
What a disgusting organization. P.s. They don’t care about any opinions. Justice with words are all I offer. The game will be a disgrace.
It’s not 343 and yet it will have req packs and placement matches, try again Sir… for all I know they could just slap their name onto the game and I know it will suck

How do you know it’ll have req packs? Also what’s wrong with placement matches?
OP i dont care to read all of that since it looks like its just whining about how ITS A BETA NOT A FULL GAME so obviously its not going to be finished because ITS A -Yoinking!- BETA!!! A GLIMPSE OF THE GAME!!! they want feedback for a reason
I don’t really get it. I’ve played both the original Halo Wars and Halo Wars 2, and the only big differences I can think of are that:
Making new bases no longer increases troop count (to my knowledge anyway) - Tech levels are acquired by levelling up base now - Energy has become an expendable currency just like the other one (supply? I don’t even know the name) - A gametype has been added where you control points to earn points - Captain Cutter can no longer make Elephants - There is now a levelling tree for commander abilities - LB no longer selects all troops - 2 new land vehicles (UNSC) - A new flying vehicle (UNSC) - Secondary attack no longer has a specific button or cool-downWhat about this makes the game so terrible? It seems to me like most of these changes are inoffensive, and there are less changes between Halo Wars and Halo Wars 2 than there were between Halo 2 and Halo 3, by a long shot, and I still think most of them are for the better (except the removal of LB, and secondary attacks - and both of them are fairly minor anyway). So OP, what exactly out of these changes makes you so angry that you take to Waypoint, and complain that Halo Wars 2 is a bad game, and that 343 is a bad company?
