Is it real? put a stop to bad rumors

ok so we’ve all heard rumors about stuff in reach. my question is, “Is it real? is it true? and how do I get it?” some of the rumors I’ve heard but can not confirm or confirm are as followed,

1.) you need to only unlock all the base helmet’s in the game to unlock the skull/haunted helmet for 1 CR

2.) you need to unlock all base helmets and there mods to unlock the skull/haunted helmet for 1 CR

3.) you can only gain access to the haunted helmet if you reach the max rank.

4.) all of the above.

5.) there is a red visor in the game that can be unlocked once you’ve reached max rank.

6.) the red visor can only be unlocked once everything is unlocked including firefight voices.

7.) the red visor can only be unlocked if you work for 343 studios or bungie.

I just want answers so anyone out there that can 100% confirm or disprove these rumors would be great. if there are any mods or admins or even someone who worked on the game that can help me that would be great to. thanks and see you in the gulch.

3. False.
4. False by virtue of 3 being false.
5. False.
6. False.
7. False.

To get the Haunted Helmet you must get to the rank “Inheritor” and buy all of the base helmets. You can then buy the Haunted “attachment” for the Pilot Helmet for 1cR.

There is no such thing as a Red Visor available in the Armoury. 343 don’t have it, Bungie don’t have it, no one has it (except modders who made it themselves).

I hate stupid rumours, like that one about Bungie shutting down the Halo 3 servers.

thank you both for the help on this matter, how long does it take the average person who plays oh about 18 plus hours of reach with daily and weekly challanges completed mostly on time to reach max rank in the game? on average that is. I can play a month straight with about 8 to 5 hours of sleep an average kill ratio of double digit scores 10 kills being my absolute lowest and 34 to 40 being my highest, in a 50 kills match on swat. basicly how long would I have to play or whats the minimal time I would have to spend for the quickest road to inheritor and what gametype this would be best suited for.

How skilled are they and what game modes are they playing?

I don’t know the answer, but anyone who does will probably need that information.

like I said 10 is my lowest I get, so they could have 25 kills lets say, I will still get 10 kills by the end of the match. the only way for me to get anything lower is if I don’t use my controler and let it just sit there.

Assuming that this statement is true, you would be probably hitting the daily cR cap every single day. This means you would be from Recruit to Inheritor in 166 days and 8 hours of Firefight Arcade. Kills don’t mean anything when it comes to your rank, especially if you can play that much.

But for the sake of your health, I suggest not to play that much. By that rate you will be dead before you hit Reclaimer, and I’m not joking.

You need yo have 100% armory completion to unlock the haunted. There is no red visor…

I never said it was healthy lol I don’t normaly do it but I can do it if I wanted to. now take into account that I’m already just a few points short of the rank of general how long would it take from that point forward?

Without boosting, sticking to Firefight MM and standard MM - Give or take about a year depending on how you play. It doesn’t matter how long you play a day or not, you’re going to max out the credit limit every day so you’ve got around 150k a day to make.

Best legit match-types to boost for FF commendations - Score Attack/Gruntpocalypse
Best legit match-type to boost MM commendations - Living Dead & Team Slayer
Best legit match-type for all around credits - Firefight Doubles

This is true^.

Are you serious? You unlock the red-visored GRD helmet after you become and Inheritor, have 100% armory completion, 100% commendation completion, and jump through the seven holes on Countdown.

That’s how I got mine, anyways. But I don’t wear it, it makes people rage with jealousness.

LMAO!!!

Tearing from this sir. Tearing.

You need Max Rank and all Helmets. Attachments are unnecessary. There is no red visor.

Good day.
