So I got halo bad blood for Christmas and it’s awsome but one thing comes to my mind if alpha 9 is back and working is it possible we might see them in infinite or maybe h ODST 2?
after all the last few words of the book definitely give a big hint to more for alpha 9
It would be nice to see them in infinite. Maybe something would happen to them in an operation and chief would have to save them.
Or they could do a dlc where you play as them, or maybe just an ODST 2 like you said.

As much I believe Infinite’s story should be more contained and only focus on a handful of characters, I would like the game to somehow acknowledge Alpha-Nine. Maybe a mission where you fight alongside them, just like the first mission of Reach.
In halo Infinite? Probably not going to happen since halo Infinite is a more simple and Chief focused story

That’s probably going to depend on the scheduling of their voice actors if they were to have speaking roles.

It’s been said above, and I don’t want to spoil the book for you, but some changes were made to the roster:
- Buck and Romeo are Spartans - Dutch and Gretchen are Spartans - Romeo is a Spartan and a prisoner of the UNSC who is still running ops with Alpha-9, given the current state of the galaxy (all hands on deck I suppose) - Dare, while not being a member of Alpha-9, is still kinda their ONI handler

Just read the synopsis. Sounds awesome I’ll have to check it out. Sorry for my confusion, I took a break from Halo for awhile and came back around the time the book released. I have some catching up to do!
Honestly I hope to see it but in SIV Form
it’d be cool having them show up for a portion of a mission to aid you in completing an objective. or what would be a much cooler alternative is playing as buck in a short dlc campaign for infinite and leading alpha 9 while doing extremely important secret missions for dare that tie into the main campaign in small ways such as it taking place at the same time as the main campaign so a major event that would happen in the dlc campaign like if (hypothetically) in the story a guardian shoots down infinity while chief is on the field and cortana takes prisoners. chief might have to lead a rescue op for a mission but the corresponding alpha 9 mission might be trying to take out sensor towers or find a way to temporarily emp a guardian so that chief’s mission can be successful. something not super noticeable in your first play through of the campaign but after playing dlc the base campaign might start to feel different because you know whats going on in the background.
