Halo 4 has a lot of crazy moments to offer, and it can be tedious going into a film, fast forwarding to the moment you wish to record, and then finally take the time to record it. That’s just me, and I’ve gotten used to simply pressing a button, thus saving the entire film for later to watch. Is this even possible in Halo 4 like it was in Halo 3 and Reach?
Press Y and you can find your local or temporary history by Clicking the Right or Left Analog stick.

EDIT: Actually, now that I think of it, I don’t remember there being an option to press Y in the theater lobby.
Could you elaborate?
I’m kind of hoping that they allow the triggers to be on rewind and one fast forward. Kind of pain to bring up the one menu just for rewind. Blah!!! lol
343i make it happen!
Press start in any lobby, even matchmaking. Go to file share i believe, under temporary history look for the film and press “y” which press up a menu to save it. I usually do it in post game lobbies, dont need to be in theater
If you don’t mind me asking another question in relation, is there any way to make it so that you are not zoomed on a player when watching a film? I have tried all the buttons and cant for the life of me figure it out.
