Yes, I have friends that play Halo 5, but they are hovering around Gold/Plat rank.
For myself, I never reached Diamond 6 yet (currently SR50).

Well, if it is possible, I’ll never get there, seeing how I’m stuck in the Gold 5-6 range on everything except Team Arena, where apparently I’m a Silver 6. smh.

yes, playing with randoms just gotta cross our fingers and hope you get lucky with decent team mates who dont quit
I’ve seen quite a few in the uneven matchups lol. I’ve hit it one time, but I think that was when it was a glitch
Yes, require skill, a consistent connection and a bit of luck getting team.
Edit: In team Arena is a bit hard because objetives need more teamwork. Mic ON help a lot.
I’ve gotten to onyx 1600 playing with rsndoms, for the first 2 seasons. It’s a grind fo sure, but its possible. You will have to win about 4 games completely on your own for every rank… and there will be 2 games each rank that you shouldn’t have wone, but you came back in the last 5 kills for a 1 point win to get to onyx. Once you are at onyx, it is impossible to get higher than 1600 alone bc you can win 8 games in a row, to get to 1600, then lose one and you are knocked back to like 1525.
Yeah, it’s a bit much - constantly winning (sr60) and getting kdrs of 3 or higher all the time.
Stuck on gold 3
Each time I got into champions and onyx it was like day 1 of the seasons restarting, other than that I always get placed super low and then I just play a few games a day and never try and grind out the rank because it seems really random and I see people ranked in onyx and above going like neggy 15 in slayer gametypes and -Yoink-. soooo just like the old numeric ranks i stopped caring after a few months.
the one time i was grinding for rank i was basically stunlocked in high onyx like 100 points outside champion i think and i would just get really bad unranked and low ranked players on my teams and I ended up losing a lot of points and saying -Yoink- it.
I’ve did it on the Feb season but that’s because I was ranked diamond six and then had to win two games to get promoted.
I get to Onyx every season playing solo. Calibrate in mid-diamond, then it’s a casual ~80% winrate until Onyx.
