And why is assault gone?
Don’t think so.
343i probably thought it wasn’t very popular.

Like how they thought Assault wasn’t popular either…
You can play a variant of 1 flag by manipulating settings however.
There is no official One Flag CTF gametype that has been released by 343 Industries.

343 left out both of these gametypes.
However, 1-Flag is sort of here thanks to the community.
Poor Assault.

Independent Game Developers tend to like modders because it increase the longevity of the game… So honestly I think the blame rests with Microsoft, not 343. Microsoft viciously defends it’s copyrights to insure that they do not set a precedent of non-defense in court that people can exploit to profit from Microsoft’s designs and products. Basically goes back to Microsoft being a big corporation with tons of lawyers telling them what to say and do, and 343’s only a cog in that machine.
My file share has a map that I created on forge island that is kinda like one flag. All you need to do is forge smart. Check the map out to get some ideas, its called freefall and don’t forget the game type or it won’t work.
> > Currently the only way to play 1 Flag would be through modded settings, which 343i seems to have some weird and pointless vendetta against. Honestly, I’ve never seen a true explanation as to why Halo mods for the Xbox are despised by the developers, they make the game more fun, don’t hurt anyone, and it’s willingly free labor.

I still don’t understand what they base the punishment of modders on, most modified game types and maps don’t break the Code of Conduct. Unless it is a cheat that creates some sort of unfairness it should not be punishable.
With careful forging, YES.
