Is it possible to get XP from fighting bots, daily challenges notwithstanding?

Is it possible to get XP from fighting bots, daily challenges notwithstanding? Also, has anyone got logged into someone else’s account by some bug? I just logged back here after probably two years away from playing Halo 5 and the the system redirected me to some guy’s account from Tampa, Florida, except that I live in Brazil.

If the challenge doesn’t mention that you need to complete it in PvP, Quick Play, BTB, or Ranked, then they can be done against bots.

Yes. Bot matches give 50 exp (same as player vs player) and any challenges that don’t end with “in PvP” actually work in Bot matches.

Also if you logged into someone else’s account but you put in your information you might need to login to your Microsoft account elsewhere and verify that it hasn’t been compromised.

That’s strange. I’m not getting any XP from bot matches.

EDIT: I’m beginning to think I might actually just be really smooth brained and doing something wrong.

In Bot Camp you earn XP. Not custom games.
