It would go like what ever you earn at the end of match is double. Grinding for RP is time consuming even with boost.
The servers are gonna be filled.
Either way I would grind out warzone assault cuz I earn the most reqs there.

If they do it is probably gonna make it only for 5 wins and that’s it for a day.
I think it would be better to have a double rp weekend as the population for warzone is higher than the arena population. But then again if players get more req points people won’t feel the need to buy packs with real money. If that happens then 343 won’t be able to make enough money to support our “free DLC”. So it is highly unlikely.
Don’t know why they haven’t done this yet. I’ve been asking for this since launch, every month along with turbo is enough.
An alternative which might be easier (rather than multiplying reward yields per playlist, or something even more complicated) is to cut the price of Req packs on weekends to, say, 7500 and 3750 for silver and gold packs respectively. That way, it’s easier to earn the packs, providing incentive to play during that time, while also allowing people to earn their reqs faster, without the need to modify any per-game rewards. It would accomplish the same goal, but with less complexity.
The only reason I wouldn’t suggest cutting their prices clean in half on weekends is that those who have finished their req collection would be getting free reqs. With gold packs finished, each new pack yields the normal reward (without the permanent reqs) while also adding 6000 points to your account. If it cost 5000 for something that gave 6000 in return, we’d have “Reqs 4 dayzz,” and fill up our consumables in under a half-hour.
Tl;dr: Cut the prices of the packs instead, because it would accomplish the same goal without much hassle on anyone’s part.
Not a bad idea and I don’t think it’s too much to ask for. I generally don’t play on weekends so I don’t know if it has happened before. It really is a pretty simple concept though. Small reward for playing. Other games do it all the time. GIVE ME MY DOUBLE RP WEEKEND!!!
Id rather have x2 xp. Req points are irrelevant once you have collected everything.
I believe even with a double rp weekend, you still wouldn’t be 100% and no everyone will take part. For everyone that is 100% congrats, I know that took a long time to grind for just fork over $$$$ for gold packs. Either way for the rest of us, 343 why not to celebrate the one year release.
It would certainly bring more attention to halo 5, I see double XP more reasonable because everyone wants to hit high rank.
I’d be fine with double RP, more gold packs to buy.

Other games that have micro-transactions do it. The only thing stopping 343 from doing something like this is themselves… and probably the people who buy them.
