I really want to come back, seeing as I love Halo, and have been playing some Halo 3 to pass the time, but will some body tell me…

It is not as bad for me 
It’s safest in Team Throwdown. DMR is a pickup weapon in that playlist. And so are AAs.

And remember, if you see Complex, don’t ever choose it. Ever.
Big Team is your best bet. Also, I haven’t seen DMR spammers in a while, actually.

If you play BTB, yes. Throwdown, no.

That’s fantastic! When I get off work today, I’m totally going to have to see this for myself. It would be rad to play Halo again as my main game.

When? How?
The dmr is ever living sadly
It depends on the map/playlist. The DMR is prevalent on bigger maps with longer lines of sight, but depending on the gametype people might be using BR’s or Ar’s instead.
I haven’t seen much of the DMR in Dominion or small maps in general. While I didn’t play Throwdown yet, I would imagine there’s almost none in there at all.

Don’t play Team Throwdown if haven’t played Halo 4 last 2 months! There’s a lot of diehards out there and you will probably have zero fun. Especially if you don’t like 2v4 or 1v3 matches.
DMR spam is somehow toned down in 4v4 but BTB is still sniper fest. Next week there should be TU and if it doesn’t fix the problem then I don’t know what and when will.
After work tonight, I’mm’a pop Halo 4 in to check it out for myself.
But if it is the same, Ill wait for this TU coming up. If that falls through, im probably selling Halo 4 to be honest./:

DMR spam?
Never seen it, never use a DMR, use a BR/Lightrifle and come almost always in the top 4 of BTB, or top 2 of slayer.
What the hell are you guys on about?
If 343 actually decided to listen to the community and address the matter in the upcoming TU, it will soon be addressed. Next Monday to be specific.
