Almost every game I enter in the whole team has ARs while maybe one or two people have A precision Wepon. It’s like the Competiveness of halo has been drained out… And the ranking system is pointless it should not even be ranking system it should be Experiance system.
For me it’s the DMR. Could be the game mode.

Depends on the mode and the map. BTB Slayer on Ragnarock = DMR / CTF on Adrift = AR/BR
Whats the map? Also, with Firepower I can carry a DMR/BR and have a AR as a secondary.
Assualt Rifles don’t suck anymore there actually useful now.
The AR’s actually useful, so more people will be using it. Everytime I see someone with an AR, they aren’t that good though.

It’s rare for me to see an AR. All I say is the DMR, followed by the BR.
Play some BTB or Dominion. You’ll find more people using ranged weapons.
Even if a player starts fresh at SR1 with no available loadouts, there really isn’t a reason to use the AR/Pistol default since all the gametypes I’ve played have one DMR in-game loadout.
Even the Carbine, which probably has the lowest range of the precision primary weapons, is still a better weapon to use constantly than the pistol. Firepower with the AR as a secondary is more useful than anything else.
I see most people with BR or DMR.
Me myself, i use BR or DMR (Dependant on playlist) and AR for CQB

I do not like using the AR but I really want the protector helmet so I have been using it here and there. I already have all my DMR kills and I’m getting close to all my BR kills so yeah I gotta get the AR ones at some point. IT really isn’t a bad weapon, just scrubby.
yes I posted about the AR being over powered on small maps like adrift and abandoned because the maps encourage close quarters combat. it may seem like most people use AR’S because they are almost impossible to beat up close with a dmr unless you hit every single shot and the head shot right after and get the first shot on them…
I’ll be amazed if I have more than 5 kills with it.

I use that AR because it is finally useful and finally completed the AR mastery commendation. I hate when people start calling it a noob weapon it’s only good in CQC and to some extent Mid and defiantly not overpowered.
