Is it me or did the MLG pros make H4 look....

slow paced/whack. I watched almost all the MLG gameplay that I could and IMO they made it look really slow paced and whack. Yes, I said WHACK. I rarley got a glimpse of anything AA related besides PV.

The BR was over used to the point of ridiculousness. Nades were being thrown in the worst of spots and I do believe I saw this one guy throw a nade upon respawn for no apparent reason in the Halo Waypoint MLG footage.

If this is what Halo 4 MLG is going to look like OMG pay me now. Flame on, I know i’m not MLG pro, but their gameplay just made the game look really slow and boring.

New controls, new maps, new abilities… An analogy for you:
Here, have a Ferrari and race around this track you’ve never been on and don’t wipe out…

MLG makes all Halo games look bad.

COME AT ME BROS!

Because it will be slow and boring thanks to all the gamebreaking AAs.

The MLG gametype (if they even bother) will be much faster.

As for the random grenades, that’s because grenade throwing is on the face button that usually has sprint on it instead of being where it belongs on the left trigger.

Ok then. Go play Halo 4 right now on a laggy HD tv while standing up. You can’t use the BR or promethean vision. You must throw granades perfectly and not make a single mistake. Lastly you must also verse 4 MLG pros.
Ok bro I’ll be waiting for when you go 20 and 0.

Actually no… its very fast paced… at RTX everything just seemed to come at you really fast, but you were able to kill threats well because the weapons are very good. (assuming you can pull off a decent shot)

and from what i played, PV is useless and redundant. I personally liked thruster pack.

You obviously don’t follow Bravo do you? They used PV at E3 because that’s what everyone was curious about and then they used it at SDCC because it was said that it was nerfed. One of Bravo’s videos he showed a guy using Thruster Pack. The DMR was also used in some of the videos, and the TV’s caused a lot of lag. So before you accuse MLG Pros of being slow paced and whack Actually watch other videos and learn facts before you starting talking -Yoink- about people.

So they’re supposed to pick up a brand new shooter and be amazing at it because they’re mlg? They have to get used to different control schemes that accommodate more actions, different maps, and different game mechanics. Plus I believe the bumper jumper control scheme switched grenades off the left trigger, which threw people off and is probably why the guy threw a grenade when he spawned. You’ll see a wider variety of armor abilities and weapons once players are more comfortable with the controls and have had time to find out what they prefer most.

Well, the maps they played on were pretty big. Plus, they were new to the game as well. No one picks up on a game that fast. Don’t worry. I played halo 4 @ comic con. You got nothing to worry about!

That’s a dumb analogy, just saying. Do you drive Ferrari’s?

The’ve been playing the game for how long now?

Ok, so what did you bring to the conversation? Besides BS and sarcasm.

Laggy HD, lol. Standing up? I’m sure they were all sitting down. Did you not see them all using PV and BR. My point exactly. Um yes, they are “pros” every nade should be almost 90% accurate. Key word there is “PRO”. By the way they were playing I would probably best them.

exactly this. Satansreverence just has nothing better to do than contribute off putting negative posts about halo 4 in some fleeting impossible attempt to get 343 to make halo 4 an arena shooter LOL. Everyone that played halo 4 at rtx and comicon said the game felt nothing like reach. Halo 4 feels like halo 4 and when they were asked to compare it to a past halo, the feeling alot of veteran players got was that of when they first played halo or halo 2. some even said halo 3. But basically put halo 4 feels like an evolved halo experience to the many that played it. Of course people will opose this and continue to hate but the haters side has no ground to stand on anymore lol.

I will take their words over the minority forum dwellers that spat nothing but opinionated nostalgia blinded things about a game he hasnt even played xD

Agreed, the best way i could describe halo 4, (in the build i played, they are still tweaking things) is that it is like a faster paced halo 3 with really awesome cool new features and sounds… it constantly makes you think on your feet and brings me back to some good old halo 3 days… (wasn’t around during halo 2 multiplayer. I did play the story mode of CE & 2 though)

Just how many damn videos did you watch?? Like two?

Some of them weren’t sitting down…Please, go watch more then one video and stop making stupid assumptions…

Halo4, about 20 games now. It was only their first 5 games of Halo4 in most of the videos shown.
As for me and Ferrari’s, of course not, that’s why I wouldn’t go as fast as I can for the first few laps around a track I’ve never been on before.
But after 10 laps or so, hell ya I be dropping the hammer

I used to have a CBR600 and CBR1000, we could smoke Ferrari’s on anything but a straight track longer than 1/4 mile  Bikes are quicker and more agile, just don’t have the same top end) but I’ve been over 160mph on a few straights, you?

No, I don’t follow Bravo. A link please so I can. And also, I didn’t accuse them of being slow paced and whack I accused their gameplay. All the Halo waypoint MLG footgame (this is what I watch BTW)is the same Blam!, sorry if i’m not subscribed to MLG pros on youtube.

The’ve been playing for alot longer than you think.

Oh, you want a link?

Exactly why, you have this thought.

Here go watch some of Bravo’s videos. I assure you, you’ll quickly change your mind.\

“WHO SAID WE’RE WHACK!?”

lol if you don’t get it then look it up on Youtube.

Anyway, I guess I have to say something constructive for this to not be considered spam… so here it goes.

Bravo’s Youtube channel

Guys the Ops is ignorant.
They were standing up playing a new game with Laggy HD TVs, what the hell did you expect a 360 noscope?

oh yeah, and you could never “best” an MLG pro like you said so please don’t make yourself look any more like a bafoon.

Or they haven’t been playing nearly as long as you think. Of course, feel free to share your records of each mlg pro players halo 4 played time, and which videos they have gameplay in.

Oh you don’t have those? Ok then.
