I’ve noticed from gameplay vids of the flood game type, that the rounds end incredibly fast, even faster than in Reach. I love the looks of the game mode, but I think zombies should just have camo and promethean vision without thrusters at least (as thrusters have proven to be very effective against the living). Also, I think that the living should be able to pick up ammo because they lose so much trying to kill these tougher foes (especially with the magnum trying to get impossible head shots I like this though, makes logical sense). Basically, I think this is a bit demoralizing to living players because now fate is 99% inevitable.
It does make it scarier!
And more rewarding when you do survive!
In Reach, if I’m a survivor, I can end a round with at least half the other survivors alive. If I’m a zombie, I never get any kills. The zombies on Reach are too damn underpowered.
No, the Flood are not overpowered. Now they actually have a chance.
No no, the gameplay I’ve seen so far, to me it seams everyone is very new to the game, which is expected. I noticed both humans and flood miss most of the time, sword and shotgun. It’s not that it’s overpowered, it’s that noone knows how to play yet.

No it was just that the zombies in Reach were horribly weak. The Flood will actually stand a good chance now.

Remembering Halo 2 when you became a Zombie, joined Green Team and started shooting all your pistol ammo away so the Humans (Red Team) couldn’t use it? Why wouldn’t there be Ammo pickup?
Yes the flood are OP. Once players are acquainted with the maps and have adjusted to the movement speed and distance of the thrusters, there will be no challenge to infecting humans, and rounds will last as long as they do in Reach infection on zealot.
It’s good to see that the infected will have some power behind them. Reach infection was so infuriating while playing as the infected, it played too slow and the hunter/s basically became the hunted. There shouldn’t be any ammo pick up, only the last man standing should get ammo refills. The survivors being the underdogs is what makes infection fun.

Buddy, these are CON games.
Convention games are literally the worst base for any kind of case for or against something. There’s probably ONE good player each game, and everyone else are a bunch of newbs who have never played the game before.
Finally, it’ll be fun to use the Flood form! I hated those times when I was a zombie in Halo Reach. Those danged campers in the tightest possible spot were annoying little devils! I still rage about this, and I haven’t played living dead in a long time!
It’ll be good for a change, and the Flood will make me want to be the Flood, not the other way around.
Depends on what you want the game to be.
Personally I would prefer weak zombies to replicate a “zombie slaughter” experience. Weak zombies with humans racking up the kills. But to be fair for score, bonus points for an infection, eg 10 pts for an infect, and 1 for a zombie kill.
