they must be having extreme issues over at 343 HQ with the servers this is getting sad. i just got kicked from a war zone game cause there was to many players, apparently there was 67 players in that game. Even though PTP is Bad most times it has worked a lot better then this!
Well alot of us folks outside the u.s.a. mainland are having issues finding any matches besides slayer and team arena… 343 has stopped addressing our problem… im in guam and i cant believe the population is that low for my region.
I’m always getting high latency games " dedicated servers" my -Yoink-…just more false advertising.
I think only the U.S has dedicated servers, and everyone connects to them. Kind of pathetic for the flagship exclusive, I wish it was like battlefield where they had regional servers…

In the same boat man i know your pain, but im just randoly getting kicked from heaps of games now due to the servers not working correctly like that warzone game apparently had 67 players in it!

Thing is population of those countries outside of the us is so small that sometimes its nearly impossible to get a game, dedicated servers work in the right situation but this isin’t right. PTP is better here even though everyone hates it it seems to work a lot better then servers cause servers are hard to maintain.
I was just on halo waypoint and they had a post about how they are moving to a new office after they get back from holiday break. You would think there would be someone to monitor the servers though. They can’t all be on vacation at once right?
Where did you go Combat Penguin? Half way through the coop mission and look back and you aren’t there…
On topic though I think they have a peer to peer backup for this game. At least that’s what the reviews I read said.

thing is sometimes servers are completely useless and PTP is the way to go, i can;t even finish the second mission on co op because the server boots one of us all the time, where that should be a PTP connection not a sever, same with forge and custom games. That gives full dedicated server support to match making, which prob would work a lot better.

Just sent you a message ive been booted out of game for no reason all night. the servers are messing up.

Great point, that would take a lot of pressure off those servers.

343i does not run the servers. They have a contract with microsofts azure cloud servers of which there are several different compute clusters located around the U.S. and I think there are some located in Europe as well. Most of the lag we are experiencing right now is due to excessive holiday traffic on xbox live.
