For a long time, I’ve had little to no problems with this game. I love the gameplay, and I haven’t had many issues with lag quitting. Also, I play equally between arena and warzone, but have probably spent more time in WZ due to long game times. For the longest time, I’ve never had any issues with quitters, and at most 1 or 2 people would quit over the course of a match. Lately however, almost every game I play ends with one team utterly destroying the other because 5 or more people have quit as the game progresses. It’s always the losing team too, with people quitting after bosses are kill by the other team or one of their bases is captured. However once one or two people quit, its like everyone else losses hope and about 3-4 more people quit in suit. This sucks for those of us who stay, as we swiftly lose all our bases, if we even had any, and get killed at our base for the rest of the match. Sometimes, they don’t even go after our core too, farming us the whole time and driving even more people to quit. Now, this has always happened, but it always happened so rarely that I never minded it (especially when I was on the winning side lol). However, this has happened that last 5 warzone games iv’e played. I repeat the last FIVE games were all like this. And while this may have just been bad luck, its almost every other game now and its getting rather absurd. It never happens to this extent in arena, since the teams are smaller, but even still happens with games ending as 1v4 or even an entire team forfeiting and the other winning by default. It Warzone where is the worst though by far. Am I the only one who is noticing this? Is it just my terrible luck, or is this problem more serious than I first realized? Why are people quitting at the first sign of defeat? It’s just a video game! I lose all the time and you don’t see me quitting every game! And I don’t even mind when one or two people quit, but it seems like the number of quitters per game is always much greater than that. I don’t want to, but if this keeps up im going to have to stop playing warzone, since getting massacred every game because of quitters just isn’t fun.
Quitters ruin all games. I don’t try to understand it, I just report them.
While you have quitters you also have more disconnecting for various reasons… Its all a gamble with this game sadly…
Unfortunately its pretty common for people to quit out about sixty percent of my matches were JIP today. But Don’t feel bad eventually the Banhammer comes for them all.
Just make the best out of the situation. A lot of my favorite Halo memories are from games where teammates quit and the remaining ones rallied together and won…in some cases it was only me remaining.
JIP is cool with me in social because I either get help or I am the help. I love Warzone games where you join down a lot, but are able to put up an unexpected fight and sometimes win.
quitters won’t stop quiting till you make the game fun for them. your not going to get anywhere punishing them all it will do is it will drive more of the dying halo fanbase away. so all the idiots out there that are like “yayyyyyy banhammerssss!” an “343 plz! someone quit a game an they were on muh team!” those are the ones really killing halo more quitters are a symptom of the game not being very fun. don’t treat the symptom treat the root of the problem. give people incentives for staying make it so people don’t WANT to quit not because of a looming punishment but because they’re is a real chance for a comback in WZ or take the damn sniper rifle an remove it from half of it’s featured maps. THAT would make games closer. as it is some kid gets the sniper rifle an the game is pretty much already over if he’s any good. quitters aren’t gonna suddenly find the game more fun because a nastier banhammer. it’ll just push them to other more casual shooters. an despite your guys -Yoink- logic halo really doesn’t need to lose what players it has left unless of course you want halo 5 to be the last or second to last halo game that ever is. but nah. you guys are to busy sitting around like “muh spertmernshep” “muh team mates” “muh morals” “muh definition of a ‘true’ halo player” “muh banhammers” “muh 15-40 comeback…”

It was a plague in the MCC. Fortunately it is much less of a problem in Halo 5.
I’m not going to lie, I do quit games. After 10 or so losses, disconnects and lagging, you just get tired, and you wanna go to bed.
I never quit. Plus you won’t get your REQ points. You can always still play normally and get good plays. For example, I got this today

I don’t quit, game connection kicks me out. It pisses me off, especially when winning. -

The amount of req point that you get from a JIP game that is about to end aint worth the time. A game that i got joined in on was at the end and i got 90 points from it. I think one thing that 343 can do is give out a minimum amount of req/xp points for the JIP games to help keep the moral up…as long as they finish the game.
Quitters really are annoying me
I looked a couple of them up, and they always seem to have a large w/l ratio
I bet that is all that they care about

The is so true. So true. Halo reach and 2 are the best games, I mean halo reach has less quitting than halo 5… That’s sad, they were made plenty of years ago and their stillactive,in a few years halo 5 will be very hard to get matches. This is just my opinion.
I don’t quit but I do understand why people do. Playing warzone earlier today and about 3 matches in a row we get about 7-8 enemy rushing our base right at the start. I’ve played hundreds of warzone matches, I know the tactic, but sometimes you just want to play and not have to scratch and claw the entire time just to avoid being locked into your core. I guess it’s hard for folks to understand, but sometimes people just want to use some fun vehicles or weapons. They may not be all sweaty palmed trying to get that 173rd win on Arc. They just want to play, but instead run into HCS pro wannabe’s in warzone. It gets old. So they quit and go fly a helicopter around in BF4 or something.
It’s a stale game. People are looking to have fun and instead it’s constant competition. It was stale when it came out and it’s still stale. Then on top of it your constantly getting booted because of network/ server issues. They claim dedicated servers but I honestly think this is a lie. I’m on focused and I ended up on a server on Japan.
