Just terrible. Canadians only getting a ghost avatar item and US getting Locus helmet.
Also the fact that the app is terrible. You have to be in vicinity of a 7 Eleven to use it.

Fotus Armor - Buy a brand new Halo 4 LE console.

Preorder store exclusive skins and emblems all over the place…

I think Halo Reach did it right when Bungie was at the helm. Only one store exclusive Pre-order bonus. It’s hard for any Halo fan to be a completionist now. I guess the only people benefitting this are the people selling the codes for $75 or higher a pop.

GETTING ridiculous? They’ve BEEN ridiculous! We’ve got like dozens of pre-order exclusives, Mtn Dew and Dorito 2xEXP crap, and the countdown to Halo 4 DOMINATES the Xbox dashboard!

I also hate how they did things… If you wanted the limited edition, but also the FOTUS helmet (like myself)… Well, you got screwed over

They definitely went pre-order/promotion crazy. At this point, you’d have to order the limited an console editions of the game from like 8 different places, live in 5 countries, spend a bunch of microsoft points, hop on one foot and sing the Nigerian national anthem in Spanish while riding a unicycle on a Mayan pyramid to get everything.

I mean come on, not everyone know how to ride a unicycle 343!

It’s not all that bad but I agree that it isn’t ideal.

Reach gave away the flaming armor effect in the legendary edition, it’s basically the same as the FOTUS armor in the Halo 4 console. Right now consoles are $50 off making it $350, I sold my Reach edition console for $250 and I plan to sell my spare copy of Halo 4 that comes with the console for another $50. Basically I only have to pay $50 out of pocket for a new console with two new controllers that I desperately need ($120 value) and the bonuses.

Remember Recon armor?

That was not even going to be unlockable. The only reason it got unlocked was because of the constant, CAN I HAZ RECON! Locus is just one helmet, and it’s not very appealing anyways. I can’t get it either because you need an Android to get it. The other pre-order bonuses are really JUST skins. You can still unlock the armor itself if you don’t pre-order, just not the special skin. That shouldn’t even be a big deal.

I actually think 343 played this right. Good marketing without really disturbing the players.

Nothing is exclusive the only good preordering does is you access it immediately and dont have to work for it. You can get everything even FOTUS armor.

As far as i know the only exclusive armor is the scanner and dead eye helmets which come with both the LE ware games pass and the seperate war games pass. the prime skin and the “exclusive” FOTUS armor are just variants to in game armor thats available to everyone.
