The playlist isn’t designed to have a robust set of maps. Having only 3 is intentional since the playlist is supposed to be a place for new people to get the hang of the mechanics.

Ah, I didn’t know it was specifically designed for that. I guess my thought now is to rotate the maps in the playlist every couple months. I’d like that. Probably wouldn’t happen though lol thanks for the note
Either rotate the “3 map playlist” periodically/methodologically, or at least permanently expand the total overall map number to 5 maps, to vary the playlist. Many veteran players play this playlist (including myself) in order to play competitive “sweaty, ranked-esque” Slayer without the rank attached, and/or just to practice our skills, but playing Plaza, Truth, Coliseum over and over does get old very quickly. The playlist could use some somewhat expanded variety, definitely.
I concur also with the OP, Gefferr posted a thread on how MM is unwelcoming to new players stating that even his friends that were new to the game found the same 3 maps boring after a short time. All level players play quick play and I agree that more maps need to be added or rotated. Surely this can be an easy fix? Certainly can’t hurt to try?

Good point, did no thought about the critiria of falling down the map. But on Coliseum you can fall down the map, not that obvious but there are some places.

You kind of have to try to do that though. The average new person isn’t going to try to make the jumps behind snipe, for instance. They’re going to run up the ramp or take the lift.
I think a Social Slayer playlist would solve this issue, but it might affect the QP playlist too much or the population in general might be not be able to support another Slayer playlist.
For H6, they definitely need to format it differently if they want a playlist for newbies.

That’s one thing I really wish Halo 5 had was some sort of Social game type for 5v5. Like Squad slayer with Halo Reach. I’m still annoyed to this day they removed it lol

I get what you are saying but I have seen many people, and I do it myself from time to time too, jump off rocket ramp into oblivion because they were trying to dodge a grenade.

Plus you don’t want it to be called… “Slightly Efficient Play”
I wanna know why doesn’t this game have more maps in general. By the time H3 was out for 4 yrs Bungie had a ton of maps and variants. I’m with you, I play quick play and it’s the same 3 maps, but not just on quickplay it’s the same for the other playlists as well. It’s getting old!!!
I also would love to see three new maps in Quick Play. I would choose to play Riptide, Molten, or Chill Out. Please, please, please add more maps. These three would be awesome. Thanks for the new maps in Super Fiesta. Now can we see some in Quick Play?

Put in more maps and it’s just unranked slayer. There are plenty of games where I have had to try harder than I do in actual arena to win.
